I have yet to actually receive the Trezor Model T I ordered on 1/17/2021. It's been delayed for a 2nd time.I'm not sure when I'll actually get it, so yeah, 2 stars. This may change once I get a shipping email and determine how everything else goes. I'm giving only one more week before I cancel and go elsewhere. 1 month wait seems a bit excessive.
Here's an update concerning the customer service and the product. After being informed about the afore mentioned 2nd delay, customer service at the Crypto Merchant reached out to me to explain the situation with delayed shipping. I totally understood what was happening. After doing some research of my own prior to their communication with me, I could see what was going on in the entire crypto markets and industry. Crypto is exploding at the moment and also with products like Ledger having issues with personal info being compromised, Demand for security has become a priority for folks serious about keeping their assets safe. So, with that, it's become VERY HARD to get a Trezor ANYWHERE without some type of wait. I consider myself lucky to have gotten one at all!! I am thankful that they continued contact with me with updates. When they received their shipment they immediately sent out my order. Even though my order took along time to arrive, I DO NOT lay this at their feet. Their service was awesome. The went above and beyond considering what they had to deal with. It can't be easy to tell customers "delayed again because..." I appreciate it and the Model T is EXACTLY what I needed for "cold storage"!! WELL DONE!
