It is not a customer centric bank. Despite or their massive marketing gimmick they fail in core values.I had to face a tough time through operations of this bank which I never experienced with my previous bank. I am sharing few of my experiences here:
1. Account opening starts from ₹49,000. If you can not pay this amount then you can not open a basic savings account here. I needed to open a salary account which gets opened at 0 balance but the bank staff forced and tried to pursue me to open a savings account just to fulfill their sales goal.
2. They call evey month to deposit more money to the account in lieu I am already having above the minimum account balance. It suggests how inconvenient this bank is for a customer.
3. They do survey by sending a person to your address even for issuing a credit card. It is ridiculous. Bank staff ask a lot of things on call and on whatsapp for issuing a credit card. If your address proof do not match then they reject your application.
4. Calling their customer care is in vain.
They hold the call for 15-20 mins and transfer from department to another again and again. They read the data shown on their computer and will inform you of this only. The actual reason for a credit card application status is not known to them.
5. Do not fall in the marketing gimmick. I see icici markets a lot of offers and ads on amazon, flipkart etc. however their actual service is really troublesome. For example, I recieved a debit card which promises ₹300 cashback on first 3 debit card transactions. When I checked this offer terms then it had a lot of limits that makes it too hard to use this offer in real life.
In my 3 months of experience, I had to face a lot of unnecessary difficulties from this bank. I never faced such difficulties when I had my account with Axis bank for 4 years. I had to switch to icici because my organization decided to transfer its account from axis to icici.

I don't have an account with ICICI bank but do for some reason receive their emails.There emails do not offer an unsubscribe option so I sent them an email asking to be unsubscribed. I received an email back saying they couldn't deal with my email because it wasn't from a "registered email ID", which I obviously don't have not being a customer. It provided a link to a contact us webpage but the options there e.g. web chat are only for existing customers. So then I called them and I couldn't speak to anyone either and the only option I had was to leave a number for them to call me back. What a waste of my time. If this is any indication of the quality of their banking services I would strongly recommending avoiding them like the plague.

WORST, CHEATING, LYING, FAKE, FRAUD, DISGUSTING AND SHAMELESS icici bank.
It's getting WORSE for not taking any action against their MANNERLESS,INDISCIPLINED, MISCHIEVOUS, DIRTY and DISTURBING deputy manager sangya jain, branch manager tushar patil and Tardeo branch siddesh kolvankar for their behaviour shown to the customer. It's a week back on Saturday dated 20/03/21 a complaint was raised (SR-737854595) by zenab from the ESCALATION TEAM agent and the icici bank's nodal officer, but till 25/03/21 there is no action or reply from SILLY STUPID GREEDY icici bank and their nodal officer.
It's very CLEAR and EVIDENT that icici bank on purpose SHIELD their staff members because icici bank doesn't have the CALIBRE to take any action against their MANNERLESS, INDISCIPLINED, MISCHIEVOUS and DISTURBING staff. They are BIASED and PARTIAL towards the customer's complaint, they don't want to hear any negative feedback or complaints of their employees.
Firstly the employees of icici bank dosen’t have any respect towards their customer. It may be either insulting a senior citizen by vinayak from Andheri east icici bank branch but only a FAKE, FALSE and FRAUD APOLOGY saying that this thing will not happen in future, or the CHEATING, LYING and FRAUD from geeta(Khopoli branch) for telling lies that they don't like to call or work after 04:30 pm.
Secondly this icici bank on purpose SUPPORT and SHEILD their SILLY STUPID SHAMELESS staff for doing so. But this CARELESS, CHEATING, CRIPPLED and HANDICAPPED icici bank dosen’t have any daring of replying or resolving the complaint. They are just sending messages to go to the nearest bank for clarification, as if I am their servant and does this bank have any CALIBRE or MANNER to say that. It's VERY VERY DISGUSTING, DISTURBING, NEGLIGENT, CARELESS and BOTHERLESS from icici bank.

This is the worst Bank I have ever seen. I took credit card form this bank. I used credit card for almost a year I always use to use full amount and repay the amount in next month.but due to covid lockdown I lost my job. so for one month I didnt pay the credit card amount I got call from icici saying We don't want to hear your excuses give us our money . To evaluate the situation I'll tell you what they Actually said ..
icici Executive some lady :- " Sir humko aapse kuch lena dena nahi hai, aap hamara payment kardo kisise bhi le kar dedo wo aap dekh lo kaise manage karna hai aaj payment ho jana chahiye"
I said " ma'am next month me aapka jo bhi hoga amount with penalty mai pay kar dunga. so first day this was the conversation. Next day I went early in the morning to look for another job same moring ICIC executive came to my home I wasn't there so he was asking my mother for payment my mother didn't know anything about the situation so the guy who came he said "Ye lo hamari office ki madam se baat karo.."
lady on the phone to my mother :- " are madam apko paise dene hai ki nahi hai aukat nahi hai to credit card use kyu karte ho..yehi sikhaya hai kya aapke bete ko aapne chori ke paise khata hai "
My mother started crying as she didn'tknew any of the situation...I went home then my told me this scene i called the same guy and said give the number of that lady so he trasfered the call to some other senior guy.. he said " ha to pay karo na pay nahi karna hota to lete kyu ho and stuff I lost my temper there and this what i said...
Me: "Are sir next month de dunga bola na with penalty apko kya issue hai bc chor thodi hu mai 1 saal se aapka card use kar raha hu...." this was my statment.....and the guy goes like "are chutiye teri maa chod dunga waha aaya to mai ba bla thinsg like I can't even type here..." This was my experience with ICICI Credit card department please If you don't want to argue with Some low class living in Jhopadpatti people Just DON'T BUY ICICI CREDIT CARD.

I have my ICICI bank account and it was in dormant state while after going to ICICI bank they made theaccount active.
Just to know the status I am trying to call the bank and wish to talk to customer care, I wasn't able to talk to them while the voice command assistance would not allow me to go to allow me to talk to customer care.
