Been using Sendcloud for 3 years

Been using Sendcloud for 3 years, have been putting recently over 12,000 EUR of shipping fees per month to their company,the service for such customer size is a joke. This service was clearly meant for smaller fish in the sea. I have had issues with pick up reliability since 1.5 years, we have had daily pick ups planned via contract on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. We have had to contact them nearly every week, about the fact that DPD is not picking up, and everytime they do their awful process of asking how many packages there are, and they would even sometimes ask if we have a regular pick-up (which used to work for 1.5 years before) where we explain we do Monday to Friday even though we have been contacting them every week. Absolutely crazy. The next best part is that everytime we contact them it is some random in chat that always just does the same thing, ask us the same questions, and then call DPD and then nothing happens anyways. I am sure we have cycled through each live-chat customer supporter that is available at Sendcloud. The more worrying part is that only at a higher monthly fee does one get a personal advisor which makes 0 sense if we are putting such high monthly sums of shipments into the company, for 30 EUR more a month we get a personal contact person but at 10k-ish a month we do not? This sadly highlights the issue of a middle-company between two parties taking a part of the service fee for offering a platform but having 0 control and power over the wrong-doings at the couriers which they serve for. Sendcloud would not get as explicitly mad at the courier or escalate the situation like I would privately, because they have to please other customers. For a large company I do not recommend Sendcloud and I recommend working directly with the courier as there is a total disconnection between the customer and the service that is being provided to them. It is impossible to even e-mail, call, message DPD on any platform directly because everything is behind the contracts of Sendcloud and we are not a official customer of DPD, but Sendcloud. Yet when we ask for information to take legal action they blame responsibility on DPD when SendCloud is the one being paid by us, not DPD. Sendcloud in combination with DPD has caused harm to my company and caused me to lose customers due to the excessive waiting times.

Arrogant, dishonest, threatens with a debt collection agency

This may be the most arrogant company that I have ever dealt with. Their employees treat you as if you’re dumb by ignoring your questions.Once a nice small Dutch company, now that they’re bigger and international, they’ve become arrogant and are only after money. Do not expect help when you need it. They have grown, and with that their arrogance and aggressiveness has grown too. Sendcloud is not honest. They didn’t want to provide us with proof of 300 surcharges worth more than 3000 euro (!) (which were not mentioned upon buying the shipping labels...). Meanwhile they kept insisting that we provided proof for 1 (!) parcel which we shipped that they claimed was oversized, while we never ship oversize parcels. When I provided proof of the dimensions (screenshot of client’s shipping uploading system) they didn’t accept this as proof. So they ask me proof for 1 parcel, then they dismiss the proof as not valid, but they never provided me proof of 300 (!) surcharges. Well, that’s really fair and good practice… It’s only one example of their arrogance. Also, after our complaint they added information on surcharges on their website, but they were not so fair as to acknowledge their mistake to us and drop the surcharges. Sendcloud scores zero regarding customer friendliness. Their customer service employees have one mission: never agree with the customer, and make him pay even if the invoice is not fair. Also, you can’t reach them by phone. They don’t show a phone number anywhere. But when they call you, and you want to call back the same number later, that number is not reachable, because they just don’t want you to call back. They decide themselves if and when they will talk to you on the phone. Sendcloud prefers automatic payment, and if you want to pay manually, they give you exactly 5 days! Most companies in Europe give you 30 days. Then if you haven't paid fast enough, they threaten you with a debt collection agency. So, Sendcloud partners up with an aggressive debt collection agency, which has been in the Dutch news on several occasions for its terrible practices. When you phone the debt collection agency for more information, an arrogant man immediately threatens you with legal action. Also, this debt collection agency charges 500 euro extra on your outstanding bill. Now Sendcloud will probably answer my review and make it look as if they haven’t done anything wrong. That of course is part of their arrogant behaviour. In our company we act from empathy toward customers and we try to help them. Sendcloud, on the other hand, sees customers as a problem and will do all it takes to never ever say to a customer “sorry, we made a mistake, we didn’t provide enough information to you, so we’ll solve your issue”. While Sendcloud feels strong about its arrogant behaviour, in reality this behaviour shows only weakness, because a fair and honest company takes responsibility for its actions.

In Austria don't use sendcoud services…

In Austria don't use sendcoud services because are just useless, the Austria POST dezent accept their labels.Also on 1 package that I never sent they made me an invoice with 4.52 Eur and after a week they accepted that the package wasn't picked up and give refund only for 3.90 EUR. My advice, dot waste your time and money
