Dont even try collect+

Reviewed on 2021-04-07T19:12:25

Dont even try collect+, what a complete joke! Didn't send me a collection code and then asked me to confirm my address to get the code but the address doesn't match the delivery address, but the delivery address is the collect+ store address! What the hell is going on.... I'm so confused, surely the delivery address is my address but I've bypasses that to collect at a collection point? But no, the delivery address isn't my address so the details don't match, so they can arrange redelivery... oh hang on they can't cz it will be re delivered to the collection point again and they can't change the address on their system! My head is spinning! And now I'm not getting my goods, have to wait for the par els to be collected, returned to store and then 3-5 days for a refund, furious!

The worst

The worst, robotic, couldnt give a s*** customer service team I’ve ever had the pain of dealing with. All I want to do is to be able to check out, seems this is above what the IT team are capable of. Issue started 19th March, I’ve contacted them more times than I care to remember, only to get the same robotic response! Absolute joke

Asda Con

Reviewed on 2021-04-07T18:32:49

On Sunday, 4 April 2021, I purchased a bottle of Taylor’s Port from Asda in Blantyre (Scotland). The item was clearly labelled as part of a special offer - Rollback, save £5, now £10 instead of £15. Blatant advertising- no typographical error. Actually took a pic of it and sent it to a friend. At the till I was charged £15. Noticed this and challenged (appropriately). Was told that it probably didn’t apply in Scotland as the SNP didn’t like discounts. Utter nonsense Was told to go to Customer Service where I was told they couldn’t over-ride the till price. I said this was blatant misrepresentation. Another lady asked me to show her the price and wouldn’t accept the photographic evidence. For some stupid reason I actually took her to the aisle and the label. She called over a colleague - his response (our honest Sean) was to simply remove it. No checking, no enquiry just blatant deception. I contacted Asda online expecting common sense and integrity to prevail. I actually was insulted with a response that the price at the checkout is always correct. This is a blatant lie and suggests there is never an error! Asda-con! Check your receipts folks

Asda have left me with no food and the money I had in my budget for food is in cyberspace somewhere. So no money to buy more food until they very kindly drop it back into my account in anything upto 7 days. I have health problems and no support network I can ask for help, I literally will have to do without food. I will never ever use asda again. They mess with your order and if you do allow them substitute items then its pot luck what you'll end up with. Thank you Asda

Unreliable online shopping

Reviewed on 2021-04-06T21:25:00

Online shopping so unreliable even though they sell essential items. In the past 3 experience: - Many essential/urgent items that were my main reason for arranging essential items were not available, only being notified on the day of delivery - In the last experience, actually whole delivery didn't arrive and the entire order was just cancelled. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE as they are selling essential items, and customers are depending on their deliveries. I personally think there should be penalty for not meeting their order.

Online or app way more expensive than in store.

Reviewed on 2021-04-06T19:52:48

I only recently downloaded and Asda app and thought I would try them as an alternative to Tesco.Place my online order and was delivered, no issues with the delivery or the items, although the alternatives I received were actually the items I ordered for some things. However I had to go to the store as I forgot some items. I was actually shocked and amazed to see some of the items I ordered online were up to half price in store, I only walked past 3 of the items I purchased and with those 3 alone I would have saved £14.75 not to mention the £7 delivery charge. If I had done the same shopping in store. I went to the customer service desk and was advised they could do nothing about it, called customer service and was advised that these were the prices when I placed the order, regardless of the fact that they would only charge me once the items are packed that morning. I bet if I went through every item there would be a lot more savings to be had. Will not be using them again.

If I could give 0 I would but Asda are way too up themselves for that obviously. Bristol live havewritten a disgusting article about a truther who was spreading valid information under freedom of speech and Asda responded with how you won’t tolerate such behaviour, what behaviour exactly? Freedom of speech? Or do Asda not believe in that? One of your staff members also went as far as assaulting the person. How about how Asda hire thugs to abuse and threaten customers? Do not act like your staff are scared, they’re fully trained in psychically and verbally abusing innocent people. Doesn’t that upset people or is it only when someone says that masks are useless and extremely harmful. Does your pathetic rules only apply as if we’re in nazi Germany? Every single Asda branch I’ve been to there’s been an issue with your disgusting staff. Even with the home delivery lunatics to the point police have to be called. Shut your disgusting filthy stores down. You should be ashamed of yourselves, each and every single employee. Vile rats
