We have been on Workaway for the past 4 years and full time traveling for the past 2 years. At first,we were planning our possible early retirement and hopeful to find a way to make that dream come true. With Workaway, we were able to travel, meet people from around the world, experience different cultures, and assist people do various jobs where we are active, involved and engaged with the people we are working alongside.
Workaway makes it easy to review hosts around the world and make a connection with people that we still are in contact with on a regular basis. We have 4-6 years planned on the road and expect to be with workaway for the entire time.read more

Workaway.info turned out to be the perfect platform for our adventures abroad! We have successfullyspent 2 months in the UK and 3 months in Norway with absolutely great hosts and can't wait now to use the platform again for our travels to Alaska. The variety of hosts and jobs worldwide is amazing. The membership is really worth the money. I have had several amazing workaway expereinces throughout Africa. When you stay with a host you learn so much more about the culture and its traditions than you would imagine.Plus you make amazing friendships. I have used lots of different skills and learned many new ones along the way. Highly recommend this method of travel volunteerism.read more

I started using the workaway platform a year ago and I think I'm not going to travel as a tourist again.Many of the Hosts and Workawayers are family to me now. There is something that connects most of the hosts, is that they work in an unconventional way. The best way.
We are used to sending cv, lot of paperwork, blah blah blah. With Workaway you can see who needs help and choose from thousands of different projects. Just send a "do you need a hand?" and a door of beautiful opportunities get open.read more
