WARRHUNDER ON XBOX RUBBISH This game is rubbish on x box and playstation because it is designed for pc with little effort to make it a fair and enjoyable game for console players.The HUD is terrible no compass map view etc and doesn't touch world of tanks for playerbility. Do not waste your time or money on this game if you are a console player. It was designed for pc players there is no balance . Tanks look great but they have very unatural movement. The planes are better but pc players also have a big advantage with quicker response times with mouse and keyboard aim etc . Mouse and keyboard play with console is much less responsive. Just don't bother . Download another game instead. PC version you can lower the Res in game giving a huge advantage because when you lower the Res bushes and trees dissapear this is how pc players can cheat against console players they can see you but you can't see them. Console players cannot do the same and it is the lowest form of gaming and pathetic . Microsoft and Sony need to take Gaijin Entertainment to task on the misbalance between pc and console on this game or take it off console altogether this company obviously cannot be trusted to sell a fair game for all players . It would get -5stars if it was available on trustpilot.

after playing this game again for a year after deleting it for 2 years, I discovered the same issues as before which made me delete it (which I will be doing again once eagles have gone ).the game is full of unfair issues, ghost units and bots that are activated by grid position, this includes ground and air units. all designed to fleece more money out of you. the graphics are tops but this is wasted on a game that the developers have no clue in game play. one of the biggest alarm bells is although a Russian developed game it is actually registered in Cyprus, the reason for this is because Cyprus has no laws that protect players and their accounts, including hacking of your details IE, player accounts and even bank details. in fact I know of accounts that have been stolen and sold to Russian players and Gaijin do nothing because no laws protect you and possibly because within Gaijin there are those who are behind this. Never trust any type of site registered in Cyprus. To Sum up, as any others have said, money is what is needed to play this game and you have no chance with out it, one Tank can cost you £60.00 but once you buy it you will find that your one is not the same as the ones you have been up against, although supposing exactly the same. Gaijin decide the out come of all games regardless of how good and how strong your team may be. the game is "Fake" and unfair. you have been warned.

I fully agree with Scott Simpson's review.
I stopped playing WT (Arcade Battles) a couple of years ago because the growing faults and unfairness.
I wrote my experience and thoughts in two web pages,"A beginner’s guide to War Thunder Ground Arcade Battles" and "A beginner’s guide to War Thunder Air Arcade Battles", still on internet.
After two years I started again to play, finding it more or less the same: great graphics, a lot of vehicles, the usual unfairness.
If you don't pay, you can't really have success beyond level III / early level IV.
But I've discovered that Custom Battles, i.e. battles you can set up against bots (with a password protected battle, to prevent others entering it), are fun enough and much more relaxing.
Air custom battles are quite easy (too much easy, in fact) for a medium level player, because air bots are no clever at all. It's very unlikely to be downed, apart from the bomber gunners, real and dangerous snipers.
Ground custom battles, on the contrary, are more difficult because ground battles need less skill and smartness, so tanks bots can be dangerous (and usually your bot tank team is dumber than the enemy one!).
Set up the battle against upper level bots (e.g. fight with a T34 against Tigers II) and you'll find some challenging and enjoying difficulties.
All in all, Custom battles, i.e. playing against bots, are enjoyable enough and you will not feel cheated and fooled.
On-line gaming is a different kettle of fish and I can't advise you doing it beyond level III, which is the last "fair" level for a non-payer, both for planes and tanks.
After it, you'll hit a "virtual money wall": no money, almost no win.
And I don't recommend paying because it's an unfair game anyway, unless you like to pay to "feel like a winner".
In addition to the lack of fairness, there are also many other flaws, such as problems of realism in the effectiveness of the weapons, questionable mechanisms for winning or losing battles, patches released almost every day etc.
It could be a great game (the graphics are really nice and lately even improved) while it is "just" a good game.
However, the range at which you can play it for free and with pleasure is large enough to still recommend trying it.

I enjoy this game.Its immerse gameplay and hundreads vehicles from 1900s to today. All vehicles have fantastic models,and game is well optimized. Althought, it can be sometimes frustrating, as progres is much faster with premium account etc. But you can achieve anything completely free. I suggest you trying this game, it gives you absolutely crazy content for free. (played 5 years(if you want to make sure, that this review is made upon my experience, you can find me under nickname "oumygot" ;-) ))

For a small company the graphics & sounds are good but the game play is broken in parts & has been for years,it has a pay to win structure, if any player want to compete they HAVE to spend real money & lots of it.
Damage mechanics of this game are a joke, usually it's a 1 hit & dead, regardless of where you get hit or vehicle used, Arcade mode where new players usually start is a steep learning curve & tends to drive new players off.
Game is really only for wallet warriors as updates & bug fixes only ever caters towards them, bugs & gameplay issues that affect lower level players are never addressed
The company continue to ignore the real problems with the game & instead of fixing what is already there, they just add more content such as premium vehicles that require real money to get.
Play it if you don't mind spending lots of money & can put up with bugs & gameplay issues as long as your arm.
Don't play if relaxed & balanced gaming is what you're after or are willing to pay lots of money to be able to compete
Don't play if being forced to fight against higher leveled vehicles (ground battles) & can do nothing against them isn't your thing.
