VividSeats Won't Refund Money for Canceled Event

I purchased tickets from VividSeats to a Jackson Browne concert at Foxwoods in Connecticut that was to take place on June 20,2021. I had also bought other tickets from Jacksonbrowne/TicketMaster. On May 13, I received an email from Jacksonbrowne.com which said that the concert was canceled--not rescheduled--canceled, and that they would refund the cost of the tickets. Jackson Browne/TicketMaster issued the refund within 2 days of my receiving the email from them. I reached out to VividSeats 4 times to inquire about getting refunded for the almost $500 I paid for the tickets that I purchased through VividSeats. Each time, they have given me a song and dance about the concert not being canceled, that it has been rescheduled, etc. A bunch of BS. I have the email from Jackson Browne, the performer, saying that the concert has been canceled. And they refunded my money. VividSeat could easily verify that the event was canceled by calling Foxwoods and asking them! The event is no longer on their website. So, my take? VividSeats is a scam--they supposedly have all of their guarantees, which are supposed to make buying tickets from them safe, etc. But when the rubber meets the road, they make up reasons to hold your money, pretending that their reasons are valid. They actually had the nerve to tell me that if I was unable to attend the event when it is rescheduled--it is worth noting that, of course, there is no reschedule date because the event was canceled, not rescheduled--that I could resell the tickets on VividSeats. I pointed out to them that there are no tickets to sell--because the event was canceled!! So, I will never use VividSeats again. They are not to be trusted.

Vividseats has great tickets available with a great deal of flexibility in seating options and price range.I was very happy to find the tickets I found, and eager to purchase. The purchase experience via the website was troublesome as there was no field to enter a credit card number making the transaction impossible. I was further frustrated when the chat assistance failed to initiate several times. In the end, I decided to call the sales phone number, and the person who answered my call was exceedingly helpful and efficient, and honored my online promo code, so I was very happy by the end of my experience, but it was frustrated with portions of the website experience.

Vividseats charges a processing fee more than the cost of the tickets beware

This company charges a processing fee that cost more than the ticket its self which is extremely overpriced from ticket value.for example the face valve of the ticket was $64.00 they charged $260.00 plus a $312.17 processing fee. I did not go to this company directly some how I was redirected be real careful you will not know the true price you are being charge until it shows up on the receipt.

I purchased $1200 worth of tickets pre-covid. Once the concert was re-scheduled to one year later(June '21)I contacted them and requested to change tix from Nash to Atlanta. I was told No but you can sell the tickets on their website. I put the tix up for sale and sold 2 of 4. When I went to upload them, I learned that I could not transfer the tix because they were E-tix. Called back, told sorry you can't transfer but they will fix it so I could transfer the 2 that were purchased. I told VS rep that I need to sell 4 tix or no tix. So no sale. Vivid seats then charged my Credit Card $950 as a penalty for not transferring the tix. I will repeat- Vivid Seats charged my credit card $950 as a penalty for their mistake. NEVER NEVER NEVER use Vivid Seats.
