Since 2005, VEJA's goal is to create sneakers differently by mixing social projects, ecological materials and design. Using organic cotton and Amazonian rubber directly from producer associations based in Brazil and Peru. But also innovative materials such as recycled plastic bottles to create a mesh. VEJA relies on social inclusion to take care of all its logistics for its e-shop and Parisian stores. Since the beginning, we allocate our financial resources to the production chain and not advertising. We do not have any stock and never overproduce. VEJA is 15 years of adventures, failures and success, working along with incredible people, travelling to crazy places and creating crazy projects. As its cofounders Sébastien Kopp and François Morillion said: "We just tried to create the company in which we would have dreamed of being employed. _ Depuis 2005, l'objectif de VEJA est de créer des baskets différemment en mixant projets sociaux, matières écologiques et design. These shoes are terrible, after a year of use the sole has turned yellow and does not come off and the inner lining is torn.They have no guarantee, inadmissible for the price they have. Very ecofriendly but little human-friendly
estas zapatillas son malísimas, despues de un año de uso la suela se ha vuelto amarilla y no se quita y el forro interior se rompe. No tienen ninguna garantia, inadmisible para el precio que tienen. Muy ecofriendly pero poco humanfriendly.

The shoes arrived quickly but my return was delivered 10 days ago, and I have gotten no word of them initiating the return or even to say the received the item.I have reached out 3 times now (two emails and one insta DM) and still have received no response. Be wary when purchasing items that you possibly would need to return!!

I had to return a pair of shoes to Veja. I followed all of the instructions, and can see that somebody signed for the package two weeks ago.I have not received any refund, or a notice of when I would receive my money.
I have reached out several times to customer service, and have heard NOTHING back. The shoes are not inexpensive, and I’m incredibly disappointed at the lack of reply.

Waiting over a month for a return to be processed. Said the return couldn’t be located but if I waited 2 weeks I’d be reimbursed.Waited the 2 weeks and now nothing. Not replying to any emails. Absolutely terrible customer service. Just awful.

Ordered VEJA CAMPO KHAKI 39, they charged me order twice, so my order two times- not okay. Then,they came really quickly, of course, I returned one pair because they sent me two and above all that, they even sent me one wrong, VEJA CAMPO 38. No problem, I returned it on 16 April and week after I received from French post that they have delivered them to Veja. Week after, they still don't reply anything about refund. Finally, last week (Wednesday) I get email from support that they have processed my refund and I should see operation on my bank account in 5 business days. Today, still nothing.
They sent wrong order, charged me twice and then even don't refund me even though they said they will and on my VEJA account says that operation is completed. Not okay, please return my money!!!

Don't buy from this company if you're in the UK. They don't sort customs and you get a massive fine (£77 for 2 trainers),then the company also try and claim another £25 if you return them. Not an ethical company, a shoddy company that shouldn't sell across borders if they can't manage it appropriately. I'd give no stars if I could.

I bought the Veja shoes because they were beautiful. They are not cheap which is why I thought for a long time whether or not to get them.Finally they come, and I have never worn a more uncomfortable shoe in my life. I have worn heels for a whole night straight that hurt my feet less. The Veja shoes are uncomfortable because the front is extremely hard and doesn't bend when you walk (I got blisters whenever I dared to use them) and the tongue of the shoe is also bothersome.

Be aware of buying direct from the VEJA website. Like their other customers I purchased some shoes and returned them to Veja France,using their return label in early April. Despite several emails, sending a copy of the tracking which shows they are in France, I don't have a refund. They now want a handwritten note saying I don't have the shoes and my ID??
Just an update, in the interest of being fair. After showing them a photo of the tracking and agreeing to provide the information they wanted, they have issued a full refund, stating Courier Communication issues.
