I have been trying to get a lien release for a Jeep I paid off. I understand it takes 10 days,I have the Jeep sold but the buyer just wants something stating it was paid off until the release gets here. No can do they say. I was in banking for 25 years, never would we have left someone hanging like this. I paid it off 11 working days ago. Their answer, it's in the snail mail and we can't help you with a simple email saying it is paid off and the lien release has been mailed. If I could I would give this bank -5 stars for customer service.

I tried to close out my Account at the end of November 2020 I had a secured credit card which wasalso told to be closed December 2020 They have continuously Not closed the account,then closed it .Gave late fees, retracted the late fees, charged me interest again on late fees ,credited the late fees ,and back again they have charged me, by March a $134 on a supposed 80 cent Balance after I made a 194 payment on a balance of 20 cents that turned into that much in penalties from a charge December 17th when they said I was paid off. constantly they tell me they are going to fix it I used the card 4 times they finally closed in January I Have not used it since December 2020 Every time I kept getting a bill saying I had a 20 cent balance or an 80 cent balance and if I didn't pay it I would get a late fee I would call them they said they would fix it next month I get another bill saying guess what now you owe $38 for that 20cents I had paid off the 194 which included late fees in the very beginning then they send me a bill saying 20 cents of it wasn't paid off so now are going to charge you late fees on that Out of the $500 that I had for a security deposit I'm supposed to get all of It back I made all the payments.The people on the customer service line sound very Nice and they all say there going to fix it so whoever is running this actual computer system between Harlan Kentucky and the customer service national level is inept

Obviously the two negatives are bogus as Truist is a combination of SunTrust Bank and BB&T which have not yet changed their logos,so if they had submitted those responses against SunTrust or BB&T they might be more accurate. Truist has an outstanding relationship with it's clients and employee benefits are top notch.

Unreliable banking

Unreliable banking, my deposit was delayed (didn't arrive when it does every week,it was posted the same time and day as every week) and they give run around responses over the phone "we can't look up the transaction but it'll probably post tomorrow", I have bills to pay and it's a Monday.
