Their customer service hotline 1633 is full or automated messages that end up saying you are timed out.Effectively there is no way to reach a service advisor. My StarHub cable tv device is not working and there is no way to contact StarHub to get it fixed.

STARHUB, What a complete nightmare the past 4 days has been! Your customer service officer CANCELLED MY PHONE ORDER AND LINE WITHOUT CONSENT OR PERMISSION.All because he literally did not understand English (our spoken language)instructions. And there is NO FOLLOW UP on this despite my COUNTLESS CALLS to your call centre (all very nice and polite though, with ZERO EMPOWERMENT to do anything (not even send a form?) except to send an email to the relevant department). And it is impossible to get to these RELEVANT TEAMS who can REALLY HELP TO FIX THIS ISSUE. Because these people who can HELP are either UNCONTACTABLE (you can't call them via any source, they will call you) OR call you at their preferred time, WHICH IS 24HRS LATER OR MORE OR NEVER. So you are basically at their mercy, deciding when they feel like calling you, if your call is important enough for them (your urgency ain't got nothing to do with them), should they call you at all. And even when they call you, it will just turn out to be a LIP SERVICE CALL with no real action. I will be documenting my terrible experience and sharing this in a public space. Your processes are a MESS. And your 1 DISHONEST CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER (REZZA?) can mess up an entire process, which in fact is as straightforward as can be - delivery of a phone and SIM CARD. With NO FOLLOW UP or CLARIFICATION from your end, despite my MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS to reach the uncontactable relevant team. Because things are done at YOUR CONVENIENCE and CLEARLY, NOT YOUR POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS.

Customer service @starhub is the worst, they have no sense of responsibility or sensitivity towards the customer.A simple relocation of internet services and TV services has taken more than 48 hours to be activated, every time some or the other agent gives a different answer. All stahub teams work in Silo and no one know what is happening, the poor consumer has to suffer.

Starhub - a classic case of overpromising and underdelivering! My family and I have been Starhub users for many years now.However, my recent experience after signing up for a new broadband plan with them has been an ABSOLUTE nightmare. I would like to warn everyone against Starhub’s broadband plan - specifically what they've been marketing as their 2gbps plan - when it's in actuality a 1+1 plan. This important detail does not appear anywhere during their sign up process until the final review step, where it’s buried in a 7 page T&C service agreement that has to be downloaded separately. For users who have no separate lan network set up, you're essentially paying extra money for nothing. ? Moreover, what really destroyed the experience was the after-sales experience. Firstly, the initial service technician who came down to set up the broadband was either completely unaware of this or was being evasive. When we tested that the speed was way below 1gbps (~300-400mbps), he kept repeating that this was a "backend problem", that I should be expecting 80-90% performance and to call their CS to complain about the speed. Called their CS, had to go through the usual pain of rebooting the router, shifting router, trying another router etc (even though the technician had JUST left my house), before I managed to get them to send down a technician again. PLUS, I had to pay an extra charge for this. What a waste of my time and money, really! The next technician who came to my house immediately informed that this was 1+1 plan, that there wasn't a service issue. Once again, he diverted the issue by saying that I have to call Starhub’s CS hotline again to raise my issue. Calling their CS hotline only resulted in more evasion, this time diverting to their sales time to call back in 24-48 hours, which did not happen. CS follow up call again after 4 days, did not manage to resolve the issue and again promised a callback from the sales team within 24 hours, which again did not happen. Such low service standards are just simply unacceptable! Till now, I am still waiting for a follow up call from Starhub. Worst customer service EVER. I will strongly discourage anyone from using anything from Starhub again. A classic case of overpromising and underdelivering!

Starhub doesnt even deserve 1 star. They should be removed from the market. the customer service is bad.They charge customer for unnecessary billing. They can just simply terminate your service and tell you to pay. Ask explanation they will answer you sarcastically. I been using their service for many years and i have decided i will not ever renew my services with them again after i am done with the contract.

StarHub might say they are not a criminal enterprise but they are certainly immoral and unethical.I realised today that when I moved house 3 years ago they added the new service for the new house but did not cancel the old service and have charged me over $1000 for a service we have not been using. Apparently it’s because they don’t have a record of the modem from the previous property being returned. Special shout out for the manager at Plaza Sing who pointed out I was lucky I noticed because otherwise they would just keep stealing from me for as long as the could.

One of my worst nightmares. It all began with a 6-month suspension due to a renovation,which got extended to a year long due to circuit breaker. When I requested for a suspension of service, I was told there was a nominal $15 fee each month. And after 6 months, should I wish to extend the suspension, I need to lodge a request. Long story short, I started receiving invoices amounting to hundreds of dollars, then thousands of dollars. I called the hotline and emailed them numerous times to rectify the issue, but they failed to do so. They promised to call back but did not. When I resumed my services after my house renovation was completed in this January, the nightmare continued. StarHub would terminate my service out of the blue and claimed it was because I failed to pay up. But, I had called the hotline and was told they would investigate the matter and would extend my service while they were investigating. 3 months on, they are still investigating (it took them this long!) and there were no further updates. I have been paying my monthly subscription fees sans the “outstanding balance” that they wrongly billed me for. Last weekend, StarHub terminated my services yet again. I was working from home and my internet got cut off, and so did my alarm system. Why am I penalised for their mistakes and incompetence? They could not count and get their facts right. Following up with them became my full-time job!
