Ordered items for Halloween because they were not found in any of the stores in my location.I paid extra money to have it shipped to me before Halloween, around 20$ for shipping. Package arrived before Halloween, but my items were broken, couldn’t take them to the store to exchange because they didn’t have the items in store, so I tried to email guest services, no replies. Terrible customer service. At least refund my shipping to me since you couldn’t deliver a package correctly.

I ordered back on August 25th a “Jumping Spider” from Spirit Halloween- or so I thought.After like a month of the spider not arriving I decided to contact them on September 29 via email because my package hadn’t even been shipped. They replied with “ We have reached out to our warehouse for reshipment of item #...... and hope to have that information to you within 24-48 business hours. If you don’t hear anything by that time frame, please reach back out to us.”
On October 15th I asked for a refund since the spider would come in time for Halloween because I live in Puerto Rico. They said they would do so because the spider was out of stock... which obviously the whole situation could have been fixed if they told me that from the start- but they didn’t. And they “issued” a refund to my bank account on October 18 saying on that same email that it would take 7-10 business days. But oddly enough I received another automated email saying this “refund” would only take 3-5 business days. Still I waited the 10 days+. On Halloween I contacted them because obviously I hadn’t received the money. And after having to give them all my information again- a screenshot of my bank account- and talking to like 6 different people (because every email I had someone different; they all have basically told me this...
“We do apologize for the delay in your refund and have contacted the finance department for a update on your refund status, it does take 24 to 48 business hours to get a response from finance. We will contact you once we have received the update.”
But the thing is they don’t contact you back! They just don’t- it’s been months now and they don’t even have the decency to acknowledge their mistakes.
On November 3rd they said...
Thank you for reaching out to Spirit Halloween I see refund was processed on 10/28 it could take up to 14 business days to reflect on your account
Sorry for any inconvenience.
It’s November 17 now. The last interaction was on November 13/ talking to them and they again saying- they would contact the finance department and get back to me...
This is obviously a scam- but I will give them an extra week to give me back my refund because I know Covid has really screwed everything up (but still this is unacceptable). If they don’t I will be reporting them to the Federal Trade Commission.
Update: they just reported my review because it’s “violating Trustpilot guidelines”. I don’t see where I am violating it because I am not insulting the company anywhere and they are the ones in the wrong. But I am not afraid to take legal action if needed.
Update December 9: They said they helped me resolve the issue... they only sent $19 of the refund. I am still “waiting” for my second refund. So they haven’t resolved anything and I had to contact them through the phone to get “assistance”.

I ordered a Halloween holographic projector and received 3 4k projection screens that is basically a cloth.I tried to contact them thru the chat only to be told they couldn't find my order number and gave me a email to contact them. I emailed them to be told I need to make sure of what I order next time and it's my fault. I took a screen shot of the email I received when I purchased it and they will not refund my money. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS.

(Two stars off for difficulty of reaching customer service. Getting into chat is a matter of luck,and their phone line is often off. ) Our item, ordered at begging of October got lost via USPS. We reached out to customer service who sent us a replacement item via overnight mail. It arrived within 2 days. Our toddler is very happy.

Received a costume with missing pieces. I was told they were shipping a replacement costume over a week ago,but now the replacement order status says canceled. I have been trying to get a hold of customer service through phone, email, live chat and Facebook and can't get a response. Customer service is a complete joke!!
