PROBLEMS with cordless animal V7 Dyson. They don't bother replying!!

We bought a cordless animal V7 Dyson hoover in November 2020 and we can only charge it if we prob something under the lead,so it stays in the AC connector. I have contacted Dyson twice in the last 4 weeks highlighting this and they have not bothered replying! For such a large company it is absolutely shocking that we are having problems with the hoover after 3 months AND the fact the company don't even have the decency to reply to sort this out. SHOCKING!!

Hi Kamila Just wanted to email back to highlight the point that I waited 5 hrs for you to call me back in 1 hour?I told you thast the battery and handset were not working and I went theough all the tests as you asked me to do. My whole Saturday was wasted sitting at home doing experiments with a vacuum cleaner waiting for you to call. I called after 3 hrs to speak with another lady who drilled me of the problem AGAIN, and I explained that I have already been through this with you. When you did call my phone rang once and then you hung up. I called back immediately to speak with a very rude gentleman grilling me about the vacuum cleaner to then tell me I must bring it in to be checked at a cost of $65 plus parts plus shipping. I explained to him that I have spoken with you and I am waiting for you to call me back as promised. He said he would let you know and you would call back in 20 minutes, but to no surprise, you did not call. You did not have the courtesy to follow through and I wasted 5 hrs of my valuable weekend family time where I missed a birthday party, a dance ensemble and a family catch up meal all because you could not find the decency to call me back. Wow, so this is how Dyson Australia train there staff and treat their valued customers…… Just to let you know now , this matter will climb very high up the ladder and I am so disappointed that an Australian company could be so poor in customer relations. Thank god for social media…… Brad STAY away from this over priced useless company

Beyond livid!! so I bought a cordless hoover during Black Friday as a Xmas gift. We recently took itout of the box the reason we only recently took it out was because we was still using our ball until we had given it to my mother in law anyway we took it out and it didn’t work I contacted dyson they called it pulsating and said that a new filter would fix the issue which I was surprised at as surly it was already a new filter anyway I agree to let them send me a new one they insist it will fix it, the filter arrives and it doesn’t fix it I contact them again and then they say we will send you out all the parts expecting me to put it all together (by this time I’d had to get another hoover as I’d been left without) I told them no I wanted my money back and they could have the hoover a few emails went back and forth something about 30 days then they changed it to 35 days in the end they agreed that someone would collect the hoover and my refund had BEEN ISSUED and would reflect in my account in the next 5-7 days so I wait 5-7 days come and go so I contact them again asking where is it they then say unfortunately they couldn’t do it because of 35 days mii ok way back guarantee, safe to say I am fuming as we had already discussed this in previous emails and they had actually said that they had already issued it I’ve got all the emails to prove what they said to me I’m so fuming I’m going to take the emails and get some legal advice on this because surly they can’t do that and if there was such a thing as minus starts I’d give them -10 shocking company and even more shocking customer services.

The worst customer service I have ever seen. My purifier has a high-pitch noise. After 2 weeks of back and forth of troubleshooting and sending them two recordings,they finally agreed to ship me a replacement unit, but they ran out of return boxes. So I followed up with them regarding the cost of return boxes or the timeline of the restock of these boxes. No reply. As I followed up again, they started a new ticket, tried to "help" me troubleshoot again from the start, and asked me for my information all over again (my email address is associated with my account). The customer service is so ridiculous and very incompetent.

Quality of product poor & awful customer service

I was a loyal Dyson customer - stay away do not buy. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE & VERY POOR QUALITY PRODUCT.1. Dyson v11 cordless vacuum died after a year stopped charging 2. They will not replace product they insist on trying a battery replacement which would be fine if the would send it to me 3. I am 3 weeks without vacuum and no battery delivered 4. Courier service that emailed me on dispatch providing tracking numbers have no status of the parcel 5. Customer service at Dyson is a series of menus that are not working when I hit my phone keypad for the menu option I want using 3 different phones it doesn’t register so now I can’t phone them 6. I received a feedback survey email from Dyson and when I clicked the link to complete the survey it says the survey is no longer available. I have children & pets and cannot do without a vacuum this is completely unacceptable. I spent €600+ on this product I would not expect it to stop working after a year. I would expect a customer care team that would appreciate your custom and offer a replacement. I will never buy Dyson again

Avoid at all costs

Having bought a couple of vacuum cleaners from Dyson several years ago, I had initially been a fan of their products.This changed recently when I bought a cool + hot purifier. The connectivity and the cloud services for these products is at best patchy. 2 machines had to go back because of the fault which seemed to be caused by an update to the firmware. When this happened a third time, I was told it was my home Wi-Fi. I had to prove them wrong by buying a second machine and not updating the firmware and it worked perfectly whilst the original machine did not. No apology or acknowledgement that they had got things wrong. Over time, Dyson seem to have moved their helpline and customer services largely overseas. Getting through to someone takes forever and when you eventually do, the call takers have little to no scope to help, are largely script bound and manager call backs just don’t happen. After nearly 3 months of failing to replace a product and repeatedly failing to keep to arranged deliveries, they did at least agree to refund and return the item. It does seem that Dyson are no longer interested in providing anything approaching a suitable level of customer service. That would seem to be incompatible when you make and sell premium priced products that frequently seem to need support. I won’t be buying anything Dyson again as it is just not worth the hassle and aggravation should you need support.

Delivery timeline not what they state on website!!!

I ordered a cordless vacuum from Dyson yesterday, it states on the site if you order before 6pm it is next day delivery to Ireland,well I can tell you it is NOT!!! I contacted them and they say because of Covid it may take longer, which is fine but then they let you choose the day you want to have it delivered starting with the next calendar date, I got onto customer service who clearly blamed the courier even though she could not tell me whether it had even been picked up by the courier at that stage. It's not the end of the world Dyson, but please don't offer something you clearly have no intention of fulfilling!!!! This is my first purchase of a Dyson product and this is a less then adequate start. Customer service is so important!!!!
