Over time the need for Roll Call's unique and special brand of congressional reporting grew. Today,Roll Call delivers timely coverage of Washington news whenever it happens through RollCall.com and the Roll Call mobile app, in addition to the newspaper, which is published Monday through Thursday while Congress is in session (once a week during a recess).
In 1992, the Economist Group acquired Roll Call — an obvious match given both companies' commitment to journalistic quality and integrity.
In 2009, Roll Call merged with Congressional Quarterly to form CQ Roll Call and establish the largest newsroom devoted to coverage of Congress. Today, Roll Call Group provides its readers with the tools, data and access to understand and influence Congress.
