What does MOSCHINO do?

It was 1983 when Franco Moschino presented his first women's collection during Milan fashion week. The success he achieves by bringing his ideas and his way of seeing fashion on the catwalk is unparalleled. The years passed and Franco Moschino remained on the crest of the wave, to the point that in 1985 he added a men's prêt-à-porter line to the women's collections. Making fashion affordable for everyone, creating unconditionally and making sure everyone can enjoy it: this is the philosophy of the designer, this is what he worked for every day. His sacrifices and ideals took life concretely in 1988, when Franco Moschino launched a new brand Cheap and Chic woman and Cheap and Chic man. A revolutionary clothing line in every way, especially in the price. Cheap and affordable for anyone who could appreciate his style and his way of doing fashion. His vision of fashion was in contrast to the surrounding atmosphere. In 1991 he stopped the catwalk, cause the year after he took the ecological and moral choice to launch a provocative decision for an advertising campaign. A determined man, out of the ordinary and extremely imaginative, Franco Moschino succeeds in giving fashion a wave of novelty: "playing and having fun" while keeping his feet on the ground was his motto. In 1994, just over ten years after the birth of his Maison, Franco Moschino was seized by a heart attack and died. The creative direction is entrusted to Rossella Jardini, the right arm of the designer. 1999 is the year of change. The company is taken over by Aeffe who, as a first commitment, requires opening boutiques throughout the world. October 28th 2013 is a date to remember at Moschino: after 19 years of creative direction, Rossella Jardini gives the baton to the young, talented designer Jeremy Scott.

The worst fashion house

Reviewed on 2021-04-09T11:01:05

So, I buy a pair of shoes from Moschino in January, return the shoes the same month. We're now in April and still no refund. Brexit excuses, ignored emails, disconnected phone calls, flippant staff...the list goes on and still Moschino won't pay me back. Disgusting.

Worst customer service!

Reviewed on 2021-02-03T12:14:50

I would give it a zero if there is such an option! Their website had some system hiccup, and that made me to place the same order twice. It was not my fault to begin with, and the live chat customer service person had admitted that their website could be 'overloaded' from time to time. I found out the dual order problem and contacted them right away, within less than 10 mins after orders being placed. All I got was a NO. I was told that either of the orders could not be canceld even though that was all their fault. The live chat guy seemed to reply my queries with irrelevant answers. The usage of English seemed extremly odd, and I guess from the username given during the chat, the customer support seems to be based in Italy. Anyways, it is just horrid. I had also paid the shipping cost twice thanks to their system errors. I was pretty much told that I need to sign for both orders, return one of them, and then request the refund of one shipping cost. Really a waste of my time! Even though the return is free! But why the order cannot be modified or cancelled in the first place? Also, the live chat person seemed not very friendly!

Rude staff in store, unresponsive online.

Reviewed on 2021-01-04T11:11:38

Rude staff in store, stark contrast to other luxury brands, they do not seem to have any etiquette training.Shopped at the store in Kerry Center, Shanghai, China. The staff ignored me initially and all of them focused on two other customers. I think they knew them, however I have also bought from them previously. Later when I called for assistance and tried on a pair of shoes I was shouted at for walking close to the mirror. They didnt want me to walk off the paper packaging on the floor but never stated that before I tried it on. Never had a problem with such in any other luxury store. Online, the company in Italy is unresponsive to emails. When I messaged them about a return all I got was a generic email in Italian, when I wrote in English. Also they have no transparency when it comes to their ethics and sustainability practices. No mention of such on the website. Therefore I will be avoiding them in future.
