1) My Milwaukee one-key 1/4"impact stopped working at 2 years 3 months 2) Brushless 1/2" Hammer drill went to half power then died At 1 year 1month. 3)I bought a 12amh & 8amh high output batteries packaged together the 12amh doesn't work in any of my remaining 5 Milwaukee tools & the 8amh stops one click shy of a full charge. I paid $225 for the pair. Milwaukee is at the APEX in cordless tools for Power & Speed. It's disheartening to read these reviews about what seems to be a worsting systemic fleecing of loyal customers.

Best power tools on market if you use them everyday. Wonder how many of these bad reviews are from homeowners that only use them occasionally? My advice, don't buy em, pay a professional to fix whayever you thought you needed em for. I spend way too much time each job fixing homeowners work before I can do the job I'm being paid to do. Makita comes close.

Great tool until you need service and parts

Reviewed on 2021-05-14T23:55:48

I bought an m18 chainsaw a couple years ago and have had great success with it. Recently I jammed it in a tree and did some damage to it.Completely my fault, make no mistake. I reached out to Milwaukee to see about getting replacement studs to hold the chain bar in place. Found out they were discontinued. SAY WHAT???? They still make this saw but I can’t buy replacement parts? Tried to contacted Milwaukee twice and was ignored both times. After two weeks and no email answer I just gave up and found some aftermarket bolts and with some epoxy putty I was able to make the repair. I Get it!!!!! I did the damage to the saw. All I wanted was to buy replacement parts, nothing more. If this is how Milwaukee stands behind their products this will be the last one I buy. I have had champion products in the past and they have stood behind them 110%. I will go back to them. Take my advice and beware of Milwaukee. They do make good tools, but after sales support is very lacking.

Do not buy overpriced junk

Reviewed on 2021-05-13T16:01:09

My son bought a whole set of tools from this cowboy outfit around £1,000 and the main tool being drill driver broke after a few months light use.It just stopped working. Could not find reciept from screwfix and due to covid it was easier to buy a replacement and sort later as the drill had 3 Yr warranty we thought. But no warranty unless you register straight away. But as this was only 1 year old I emailed them but they did not respond until it was over a year old to say the warranty had run out and I could send it to be repaired at my cost.

Over hyped average tools

Impact wrenches are good the rest is average at best. Drill's have chucks made of cheese with aproprietary fit so screw you if you want to fit a good one. Brushless grinders are unreliable garbage. Very reluctant at fulfilling there 3 year warranty. maybe for the best because they failed to perform a decent repair the first time.
