Despite two cancer diagnosis and car crash injuries Metlife insisted their unqualified clinicians knew better than my doctors and refused to pay my income protection.They are an absolutely disgusting organisation putting sick people through hell because they know they are vulnerable. They cynically manipulate policies and decline genuine claims causing immense distress. A morally bankrupt and appalling organisation. Planning to take the case to court if I can afford it.

I tried to get car insurance but the MetLife agent was an independent person like most of them.they get a small payment for signing you up. This company will put you on hold for hours. They refuse to respond to emails. Incompetency runs deep. They seem to care less in addressing your questions in a timely manner. I would recommend avoiding them like the plague. It's a miracle that this company can survive in business. They truly deserve the title of this post. They suck and don't seem to care one whit!

I would like to start with I have had this accident and hospital insurance for years and when I triedto make a claim they kept asking me for documents that I have sent several times and never ending up paying anything. I give them the benefit of the doubt and keep the insurance then my husband and son got in a motorcycle accident I have the insurance in both of them they denied my son saying he was I’ve the age of 27 when I am paying on the policy fir them both mind u this accident happened in November and still nothing send in documents the same one several time and still nothing very rude and no one knows what they are doing in this company I talked to a lawyer and they said that MetLife never pays out I pay a policy fir what. They are the most horrible insurance I have ever delt with. I will be canceling my insurance with them. As soon as my employer will allow it. It’s bad enough that u have unfortunate accident in your life you would think the insurance would be there for u. Thank MetLife for NOTHING

False Promises

I am SUPER disappointed with the lack of integrity of this company. I got permission IN WRITING and VERBALLY to receive services,and then when after a year of paying out of pocket for those services, when I submitted my receipts, the company refused to pay. The person I spoke with said my policy didn't cover it, although she had copies of the written confirmation I had previously gotten from the company. She escalated the issue to "the higher ups" and within a day or two got back to me with a simple e-mail saying the company wouldn't pay. This kind of lack of integrity and shady business practices cause me to give extremely severe warnings of caution for anyone considering purchasing insurance through them. You simply cannot trust anything they promise. I also have a friend who is insured through them and had the exact same problem. BUYER BEWARE. Their false promises will seriously affect your bottom line.
