When I placed an order I was told that I would receive an email when it shipped. About a half a monthhas gone by and I did a chat line with them and explained that my account had been debited earlier in the month and I have received, as of yet, no emails. They now tell me that the order will be refunded becauseThe item is not in stock. Certainly not the high end wonderful store we used to know. Guess I won’t be ordering from them again.

Horrible customer service at the Lord and Taylor Eastview Mall in Victor, NY.I don't even want to give them one star.They don't care about the customer at all, only their bottom line. No integrity. For this company and its management, the customer is absolute last, and they are first. I was charged twice for one pair of shoes I got for my teenage daughter. The cashier scanned the same shoebox twice. I didn't realize until I after I got home and went over the receipt. I called right away, it was shortly after 8 but they were already closed. I called this morning shortly after they opened at 11 and was told there was nothing they would do about it. I am really taken aback and sad and disappointed at how I was treated so horribly, that they refuse to give me the money back I was overcharged at all. The treatment I received was just not what I expected. The manager literally told me over and over it was my fault that I should have looked at the receipt right away. He said it was my responsibility not theirs. The manager was unkind and completely casted the blame on me. It was the cashier's error. I had two teenage girls with me, what I purchased was for them. I have two witnesses to the purchase. It was dinnertime just before 6 pm. They were very tired and hungry and very ready to go, I was too. The cashier handed us the bag with the receipt inside. The receipt was not handed to me by the cashier. I'm blamed by a store manager for not pulling it out and looking it over right away. If I had would the cashier have given a refund then? I would think he would have had to. So why not now? The manager was very adamant no refunds at all. I was charged double for one item, not asking to return an item. This was the cashiers fault not mine, though I am blamed. I did notice there was no screen for the customer to view prices as items were scanned and I couldn't read the items on the computer screen which the cashier had access to with what looked like the scanned items listed. I did try to watch the prices and items as they were rung up but there was nothing I could view. Plus I had two girls talking to me who were tired and ready to go and have dinner. The register was not set up in a customer friendly way at all. I wonder if they are scanning items twice on purpose hoping the customer doesn't notice so they can get more money out of people. I would not be surprised. It was the highest priced item that was scanned twice, very curious. Extremely poor customer service. The customer is not important at all to them. Very rude and snobbish sounding manager with a thick accent. He was rude and extremely uncaring, very male dominate. I feel sorry for any woman in his life. He said I couldn't even come in for a second pair of those shoes which I paid for unknowingly and did not receive. I was crying when I got off the phone. This manager completely blaming me for the cashier Hezekiah's mistake/incompetence at the register. I am wondering if he did it on purpose. It was the 2nd and last item the receipt. I was charged for 9 items and only came home with 8. The highest priced item scanned twice. This company and the manager I spoke with lack integrity. Extremely dishonest unethical company and management, no wonder going out of business. I took the girls out for a break from schoolwork to let them look and buy a few things on a budget. Only to be cheated and overcharged and then blamed for it. I called in unsuspecting, just expecting get it taken care of, expecting to most likely go in to the store for my money back for the double charged item. I just innocently decided to call ahead which I regret. It was horrible, the treatment. What I received was the absolute opposite of customer service but instead was gaslighted and blamed over and over for something that was not my fault by this very unfriendly store manager. If this company and management will not remedy mistakes done by a store employee and not the fault of the customer, they should not be in business. This store is closing and it's for a reason. Good riddance to this department store.

Received the wrong coat in September…

Received the wrong coat in September 2019, called and actually got through to a human and was told to return it and order the coat again and a few days later got an email it was out of stock.I used an L&T gift card and my L&T credit card and my account is charged for the full amount of the coat I never received, and like everyone else on here I have called numerous times and was on hold for hours and hours. No website, no phone number to reach anybody other than Capital One who owns the L&T credit card and who keeps calling me constantly to harass me to pay the fraudulent balance which I will not do. I'm sure this will affect my credit rating down the line. 2/15/21 - Capital One gave me a credit for the amount that was charged to my L&T credit card but not for the $100 L&T gift card I also used to purchase the coat. They said I can only get that from L&T, who I cannot get in contact with (no phone, no website). So now Capital One just keeps calling for this gift card amount that is still in the form of a credit card charge and my CREDIT SCORE has gone down 100 points!

Ordered 2 items online. Received delivery confirmation for full order, however only received one of the items.Have been charged for both. Called to complain, would not refund. Told me to open a case. Haven’t heard anything- tried calling back couldn’t get through. Not paying for what I did not receive!!! Update: I have sent a billing dispute letter to Capital One. Let’s see what happens.

Placed an order on November 15. Says it was delivered Nov 20. It most certainly was not delivered to me.Their website is down, their phone numbers don't work. Their email doesn't work. I'm out $88. I will not be making any payments on my lord and taylor account until i get my money back.
