I just started up a dental plan with Humana and they charged me twice for the month of May,and said the second charge was for June, and THEN had the audacity to tell me that I'll get charged again in the beginning of June? Why the hell am I paying for June while we're still in the beginning of May? It was literally two days after being charged the first time.

I've been dealing with Humana for 3 months now just trying to pay them as they keep sending me late charges though I've paid,or so I thought. First on there site they allow the use of an American Express Card.. Then once the payment didn't go through and contacted, they don't allow American Express Card payments and it should not have been an option on their site. So I posted a Visa card and again received late payment notices now with the threat to cancel the account. Logged on to my account and the chatted and was told I had no balance, all paid... Really! So I called and the voice info said I did have a past due balance... My home page showed my Visa card and info and when I actually got through the voice prompts to a real person they confirmed I had a past due balance and they showed there was no credit card on file. Again, I'm on my Humana account while talking to her and the billing page shows my card is there. So after considerable conversation she says she can add the card. Give her all the info and she cannot run the card but I can do it online as they seem to have problem, to say the least. I finally get to where I can add my card, make the payment and supposedly set up recurring payments automatically but that doesn't work either. Rep on the line says"Oh you many have to log in another time to do that" Really, can't wait till this year is over to get another prescription company as to say Humana is totally messed up is an understatement and can only imagine what will happen if I truly needs medications.

They sell number to others and they are horrible especially their pharmacy

Unfortunately they do not have a call center who understands english despite there being an English option.They also sell to others so they give the number to others who call. Never check the box to let a company know or expect to be hounded by that company not to fix, but to remove the review

I took a Humana Medicare Advantage policy out when I turned 65, nine years ago. I have read tales ofhorror from people about almost every health insurance company in existence but in my 9 years of experience with Humana I have NEVER regretted my decision. Today I received large box from Humana; it was a personal health kit (AT NO CHARGE) filled with things like a blood pressure machine, an infrared thermometer, an oxygen monitor, nitrile gloved, alcohol wipes, masks, a UV sanitizer and more. I have NEVER received such service from ANY company much less a health insurance company. Thank you Humana for caring more about me than the politicians of this country whichever party they chose to represent over me and American's.
