Worst company ever!
Have purchased tickets to / from LHR. The flight to LHR on 23 March suddenly moved from 09:05 to 06:00 (!)
Whilst in the UK,the flight back from LHR moved from 09:00 to 15:15 on 4 April, which we could cope with, but then the flight moved to 5 April same 15:15 (!). No compensation, nothing at all: their WhatsApp customer service representative told us we can cancel the flight and receive $295 per ticket back, therefore before cancelling El Al, we have ordered a flight with another operator and then contacted El Al again to cancel. But no! You cannot claim money, but a voucher!
NEVER AGAIN!

In the first week of October 2020, I booked a flight back to South Africa for December 1st.
I purchasedthe ticket through the El Al website.
A week later a learned that El Al hadn't flown to South Africa in months, and was unlikely to resuming flying anytime soon due to COVID.
I made efforts to get in touch with El Al but they have resorted to only allowing communication via WhatApp.
I explained to the Customer Service rep via WhatsApp that I understood they were not flying, and that I wanted my money back so I could book on another airline.
El Al told me that they had not yet canceled the flight, and therefore they couldn't issue me any refund.
In the end, obviously the flight was canceled. So El Al let me purchase a ticket, knowing fully well that they would not be flying.
Fast-forward to a month later in November - they canceled the flight and promised me a full refund with-in 90 days!
So now after being misled into buying a ticket for a flight that didn't exist I was told to wait another 90 days before I would get the money that I paid for the non-existing flight.
But...I waited. I set a reminder on my phone to alert me when the 90 days would be up. That was 3 weeks ago.
True to their expectations, El Al has not refunded me the money yet. They have told me that I will maybe receive it next month (based on the exceptional track-record of honesty I fail to believe this)
I have no doubt, that next month I will be told the same thing.
Truly a shame that such an airline can behave in such a dishonest and deceitful way.

Lost my money with no hope of getting it back.

The world's worst airline!! I had the worst experience traveling from Milan to Tel Aviv in 2019.I requested a refund since I was forced to change seats even though I paid for an exit seat and never got the refund! I've since not booked a single flight with them and I will never fly El Al again!
