I ordered the Coal, and then I looked at TrustPilot! They're also on another review site with outstanding reviews,so I was then thinking, Ah ha, maybe the reviews on here aren't entirely true?
So, anyway, as soon as I'd ordered I received an email confirming my order, saying I'd be informed when the delivery would be made. 3 working days later that email arrives, saying it would be the following morning. A fair bit of snow around here, so I thought, maybe not! But, at 8:55 a truck arrived outside and a very pleasant chap got my 4 big bags of coal off (plus one kindling to push it over £50 for free delivery) and wheeled it around to my shed. The coal was bagged properly, no rips, and it wasn't "wet".
All in all, 5-star. Well done Coals2U and I'll be back for sure!read more

TERRIBLE DELIVERY TIMES!
I've had to wait 14 days for a deliver! If I lived in the Scottish Highlands I would understand?But I'm in South London???read more

Terrible communicators. Lots of emails (that you cannot reply to) stating there will be a delay,but they did not give an initial delivery date, so I have no idea when we'll be getting this delivery. I have emailed them and asked for information, but they have not replied. It was clearly a big mistake on my part to order from this company.
Be warned. Go elsewhere.read more

Ordered 10 bags of coal 2 weeks ago. Received an email stating that there was a slight delay with our delivery.Still not received our order. I've now had to order coal from a local hardware outlet and pick it up myself. I won't be using this company again.read more

It's now 8 days since ordering. An email arrived saying there would be a delay. We have phoned twice to ask about a delivery date but no one at customer services can tell us.We have now asked twice for someone to call back and just give us a delivery day but despite promises we are still awaiting a call. I'm informed by the customer services that they are too busy dealing with other customer which would imply that some are favoured over others!! Customer services at its worst!!!read more

Easy to order but still no delivery and no forecast of delivery. So much for 5 to 7 days.I also have discovered that the smokeless coal at B&M is cheaper than coals2u's housecoal! Won't be using this company again. I note that the company doesn't react to reviews on Trust pilot so that gives you an idea of their customer service ethos.read more
