City bank is one of the best bank to apply for debit card and credit card. I can tell us why I am acustomer and I enjoy the fully benefits it gives me.
For debit it give you a line of credit plus and for credit the rate is lowest. Only city is like that. Thanks to this great bank!

Closed my Citi account after 20+ years. They don't give a f#ck. Worst customer service in the industry.What should have been a 5 min called ended in 3+ hours of frustration. Customer service rep closed my account in retaliation, which is fine by me after that phone call I'll never do business with them again in my life. I have a very high credit rating, so I am not worried about it. CITI IS THE WORST.

My name is Jessica and I pray that this statement saves others from not banking with them!I would give them a zero if allowed!! I've been banking with them since 2017! I never.. never seen a card company who adds on interest on a closed account. During the beginning of this covid I lost alot of things and still suffer trying to get my life back to when I was paying on time etc... living off of pay check to pay check right now and they kept putting interest on this card to the point of it going way beyond what your max is..all I wanted is to pay them off and they put me on a payment plan...with interest! Not caring about nothing! If you live on the street as long as they make millions feeding them selfish faces!! This company is so heartless it puts tears to my eyes on why a cold hearted company can not be human at all!! To not care what we all loss, to not care if we go homeless and what we as people human people are going through!!! I beg anyone who reads my words or is going through the same issues that they are doing to me..you don't have to take it no more! Stop banking with them! Don't apply for this company. There are better credit cards and they work with you..not against you. Put yourself 1st and them last..like they will do to you!

if i could give -0 stars i would this bank is racist, they are disgusting towards anyone who is not white.never open a bank you have to be blue eyes blonde hair to be given proper service. they are rude and nasty the one on devoshire in chatsworth. i really hope they get investigated internally!

Be careful when opening an account at Citibank. I opened an account to deposit money for the down payment to purchase my home.6 months later when i had the closing on my house and went to take the funds out to pay for the the closing I found out they had blocked my account without any explanation. I was shocked and angry because my closing was at 11:am that same day. Luckily, I had a friend who lent me the money for the closing and down payment to purchase my house. They release the block on my account two days later. I closed my account and my credit card with Citi bank. I will never do business with them again.

O January 16/2021 I filled a transaction complaint with Citi cards. On 01/05/2021 Citi called ourcellphone and asked if we would OK a sum of $1497 from our credit card to a Canadian Company and we declined. Some clerk processed that transaction. Someone did not want to deal with and sent it over to the fraud department, which caused Citi not being able to get my money back. Through my negations with the merchant I was able to get my refund.

Have been trying to contact a real human for the last few days about me getting denied credit card applications.Extremely frustrating that everything is automated and nobody answers calls anymore. Won’t even consider doing business here anymore just because of how impossible it feels to get help.
