I have been waiting over 1 year for a refund on my cnacelled flight in May 2020. After waiting 8 months I received an email from Avianca telling me that my bank rejected the refund.My bank said no refund attempt was made. I have spent many hours speaking to their call centre and they are not the refund department and all they do is ask the refund department to contact me.

Followed all the rules, submitted my covid test results at the same time as my 3 friends,but i was not allowed on the flight. They couldnt help me get approved because it was “too late at night”. And they wont refund me

Have been waiting nearly 1 year for a return of my account. I have submitted multiple emails and their response rate is something like 1 /10.If try by phone wither they choose to hang up or just advise you must email!! Simply the worst customer service I have ever experienced Perhaps it is a valid business model to take peoples money and then not provide any product or service? But for sure it is dishonest

I flew Avianca from Miami to Honduras. I paid for my flight online via their site and everything went smoothly.Received my tickets via the app and had a pleasant flying experience. Comfortable seating, decent food and great customer Service. I will be using them again for trips to Central and South America.

I had a scheduled flight today Saturday April 24 and was denied because of my Covid test being a rapid one.On there website it doesn’t specify that no rapid test are accepted instead it says you must take a test within 96 hours well if your taking a PCR test most results don’t come back until 5-7 days which means it can exceed there 96 hour window. So during check in they said I can take a test at the airport and get the results in 24 hours hmmm isn’t that considered a rapid test. Well the best part was them charging you $400 dollars a person to take this covid test including a 3 year old toddler. Aren’t Covid test free?? This is disgusting not to mention to get someone on the phone to reschedule your flight is impossible. It’s almost 2 hours and I am still waiting.

Avianca refund refusal

Booked 2 International flights and 4 internal flights to Colombia with the airline Avianca.Flight cancelled in March 2020.So far only received one refund in 13 months. Still waiting for £950 of flight refunds. Avianca are trying to offer vouchers for the other international flight even though booked on the same booking!! Liars and thieves. It is illegal to fly from the UK at the moment.
