Amazon decided to suspend my account

Reviewed on 2021-04-07T04:50:51

Amazon decided to suspend my account, due to an Amazon Flex courier 'unprofessional' issue. It began with Amazon trying to contact me, about a 1 star rating left, for the order(s) delivery feedback. In the end, the customer service experience turned sour and became a 'terrible experience', although being patient throughout. I had high hopes for Amazon Australia, now they set a 'new low' standard in the commercial industry, as they clearly do NOT value their customers.

I never believed that I would be…

Reviewed on 2021-03-23T19:51:23

I never believed that I would be writing a negative review about AMAZON Australia. Yet here it is.Their CUSTOMER SERVICE TELEPHONE TEAM has been acting beyond comprehension. They flatly refused to cancel an order placed 12 minutes previously on the grounds; (1.) it was too late that the order has been processed - not bad considering it was after trading hours (?) (- there was no invoice generated the seller wasn't even aware of the order at that stage) When challenged changed tack to; (2.) that AMAZON has no ability to cancel or intercede with third party seller orders (?) (- yet there is no cancel order option with the order process as with most pages) The Service Operator made total fabrications to avoid assisting in anyway. When asked to speak with the Supervisor they made claim they were on break and would make contact as soon as they returned. This never happened. The previous day a shirt ordered on AMAZON arrived and was the incorrect size. After pointing out the shirt was sized using the Amazon Size Chart associated with the listing, the blame was shifted to me with the fact that the manufacturer chart indicated the sizing. It had been added/ upgraded since the order was placed with the Amazon guide becoming obsolete. This is the kicker though - the size is still incorrect by the newly supplied JANMID sizing additions. (???) The AMAZON TELEPHONE CUSTOMER SERVICE solution, return the order with the postage cost of $24.00. Having no luck with the Amazon Phone Service I tried email and have been completely ignored. Unusual. This debacle with ambiguous sizing and shipping details has been a bain and on several occasions left me with unwanted items and out of pocket. I never take any article sizing from US and China imports without associated sizing schematics because of past experience and yet still find myself in this position - with the added Customer Service attitude of 'tough biscuits'. This behaviour is definitely not to Jeff Bezos apparent 4 core values or even fluent with the Amazon Mission Statement - We aim to be Earth's most customer centric company. Our mission is to continually raise the bar of the customer experience by using the internet and technology to help consumers find, discover and buy anything, and empower businesses and content creators to maximise their success. Phew, bet he's glad he doesn't have to abide by that now. It won't be long before the Service Team run this ship aground. Good riddance.

late delivery poor service

first time i placed an order. (1) it was in december for two birthdays of relatives in january.i was not told the items would take long, they reached in february. (2) i got a text message saying there was some 'border' issues and to text them. i was suspicious and contacted amazon. it was a hoax i was told (3) one item was to be delivered in end feb. my relatives had shifted home so i told amazon to change the address and was told (on a chat line) the items had been despatched, so too late. however, till mid march the items had not reached tho despatched. i then cancelled the order. very disappointed with everything. when ordering, it could say the item will take 2 months. i would then have ordered something else.

Amazon Autocrat

Reviewed on 2021-01-26T01:20:32

I placed an order on Amazon for Oculus 2 (gaming console) $1,200 order. Upon paying, you MUST save a credit card on your account, no option for a single use. They also refuse to use paypal because its competitor (ebay) uses paypal for payments. I saved the credit card to make the order, then went to remove the card afterwards because I don't want my card saved on their site. The information said that when I remove a card it won't affect any current orders. So I removed it. I then got an email saying "there has been suspicious activity on your account, we have put a hold on your account" They required my mobile number, address and a copy of the statement for the payment. I sent it in, then got another message saying that they need the credit card used for the payment. Not doing that! You also can't reply to Amazon emails. On another note, they have an option for guaranteed next day delivery. If you select this, and pay. The confirmation email verbiage alters to "estimated delivery". This lack of continuity, verisimilitude and authenticity speak volumes about the autocratic nature and bumbling coordination of the company. Stay away from these bureaucratic amateurs. If it's their way, or the highway. I'll take the highway. I went to ebay paid an extra $100 for the same product out of principal. Easy order no issues. Thanks!
