AIDA cruises: No free cancellation despite change in itinerary

We have booked a cruise with AIDA (AIDAblu Indian Ocean) for December 2019. We have chosen this cruise because of 3 ports of call in Madagascar.Now AIDA informs us, that they change the itinerary “due to wishes of customers” and will not go to Taomasina, Madagascar. I totally understand if itineraries have to be changed for security or weather related reasons. But due to “wishes of customers”? Who are these customers? Nobody has asked us although we booked this cruise and paid for it! AIDA does not offer a free cancellation despite the change what any professional tour operator would do. We stay away from this company in the future since you obviously do not know what cruise you will get for your money.read more
