Established on June 12, 1997, SAIC General Motors (SGM) is a joint venture between SAICMOTOR and General Motors. SGM has four major manufacturing bases, Jinqiao in Pudong, Dongyue in Yantai, Norsom in Shenyang and Wuhan base as well as 7 vehicle plants and 4 powertrain plants.
