What a scam

Reviewed on 2021-04-01T18:58:17

What a scam. This site mines potential web names! I've searched numerous misspelled and abbreviated contractions as names and it comes back as "available" for some outrageous fee,the latest two $2080 and $8000! Last year I searched one that was available for, I believe $4.00 which I delayed on and two weeks later it was available for $800!

TOTALLY SCAM AND FRAUD!!

Reviewed on 2021-03-15T07:34:51

TOTALLY SCAM AND FRAUD!! I applied to register my favourite domain. Paid by Paypal etc.,after then it shows a while the registering is in progress, after 2 days no record or information found about anything anymore. I wrote several emails and after days they responsed and pretend, I did not follow any of their conditions. However most important issue is just the following day the domain was registered by another company, offered for sales to a much higher price. In principle they trap you given them your request and information and aftr that they try to squeeze out the most of you. Similar was reported by another person… This is totally fraud, be aware and never ever request anything by them or give them any of your private information!

Pure harassment, extortion and abuse of consumer

Horrible. I never authorized release or sale of my contact information. This never happened befor me on other providers.I bought domains through BlueHost and next thing i know they releases my contact info and i get hit with constant callas, emails, text from around the world. It interrupts nonstop. Calls start at 6:30am. Then even after you go crazy trying to contact and block, it still doesn’t stop. They want you to pay them to not release your info. SCAM. They won’t block posting on WHOIS without you paying. They won’t give you a refund. Scammed completely scammed and robbed. Take your business elsewhere and don’t be fooled by those tech sites saying how great it is. fraud and scam. Then BlueHost won’t give yourself money back and says it’s not then releasing your info. So you contact WHOIS that tells you they are just the database and you have to pay or contact fastdomain. Shuffle, hide. Game. Fraud. Scam.

This is the worse company I’ve every been associated with. I’m blind and have special programs that help me on my computers.I need support with my Domain and my program would not read their support chat table. I request support via a phone call. I EXPLAINED TO THEM THAT I WAS BLIND AND NEEDED SOME SUPPORT. Support said I’d have to call their support center in India. At this point i decided to move my domain, now they are making me jump through hoops. I truly wish i would have looked at there reviews before reg my domain with them.

Matt of Annandale, VA Verified Reviewer Verified Purchaser Unique assessment: April 27,2020 They’ve some first rate evaluations on-line for Digital Personal Servers (VPS), however after submitting my order for a easy Linux VPS utilizing their type, they collected cost and…. nothing. Three days later (for one thing different corporations can do in minutes) they knowledgeable me after a lot pestering that my order was cancelled due to fears of “on-line fraud” that I did not present contact data. Although my account and order has the entire “lacking contact data” and that that they had processed cost. They now say they did not course of cost (my monetary transaction IDs inform a unique story) so I’m unlikely to get a refund however – good technical evaluations or no – there isn’t a confidence this firm does what they fake to. Useful Three individuals discovered this assessment useful Jerome of Aurora, CO Verified Reviewer Unique assessment: March 23, 2020 WHOIS.COM is a whole and whole rip-off. Do NOT use this firm. Nothing works there, together with the individuals. It’s a rip-off enterprise with the minimal safety or customer support. If I may give the corporate a -10 I’d. How the FTC permits such an organization to function in America is bewildering (it’s based mostly in Germany). I’ve filed an FTC grievance and anybody that has handled the corporate must also file a grievance. I will probably be taking the corporate to court docket with a category motion lawsuit. Sadly, working with WHOIS.COM has been one of many worst experiences I’ve ever had. I purchased a site by way of WHOIS.COM final 12 months, and unbeknownst to me, the cardboard on file expired and was unable to resume. (I additionally tried to cancel the renewal, however that is one other story). When WHOIS.COM was not in a position to renew the product on the cardboard, quite than merely cancel the product renewal like every other firm would do, WHOIS.COM as an alternative threatened to ship me to collections over the unpaid renewal. (WHAT??) Had I not caught this notification, who is aware of what would have occurred. I undoubtedly would NOT suggest WHOIS.COM to anybody, as any firm that strong-arms their prospects is a joke. I’m additionally canceling my account as I’ll not be working with them in any means. Useful 15 individuals discovered this assessment useful

Pitiful Renewal Process

Reviewed on 2020-03-17T07:02:49

It’s 2020. Somehow Whois doesn’t utilize automatic renewal which seems designed to lure people with good domains, let them expire, and then resell them. Shame on me for not checking the email that was connected to my account, but shame on Whois for such an embarrassing renewal process (you upload credits rather than your card just sinking apparently). I can now choose a different domain that doesn’t match my YouTube and published book, or purchase my own domain idea from a price gouger for nearly $1,300 because it didn’t automatically renew at $9.88. I’m simply trying to organize my information for students and parents as I move to online teaching due to school closures during this Coronavirus pandemic. So glad to find out there are classy organizations like this one, where I thought my domain was safe as I pursued goals with hopes of eventually bringing all of my ideas/work together. Not the case as my domain sits unused price gouger purgatory. Sweet.
