UPS is a company that should not exist in this age. Compared to Amazon delivery, UPS is still in the stone ages.The web site does not work. The customer service reps have no clue and live a cheerful life in I am absolutely disgusted by the fact that UPS asked for an extra $16 to drop the box 1 mile away from the original address. Also, it asked for $7 to drop it at the local Ups store. UPS is only interested to rip off its customers, once by charging exorbitant fees for shipping and other fees to deliver. An attitude of mendicancy that would put to shame any common beggar.

Absolutely the worst last mile shipping company on the planet. I honestly don’t understand why Canyon bikes use this company.It is riddled with inefficiencies, internal negligence, tracking is inaccurate and unreliable. Customer service is awful, I had high regards for UPS once upon a time, now no more. Terrible company, over 15,000 reviews and 92% have given it the worst possible review. Speaks for itself.

UPS Time Stamp Error? Really?

A UPS text message told me that I was expecting the delivery of an iPhone 6S+ Iphone on 5 April 2021. Ireceived a message from the number 698-77 that my T-mobile package had been delivered at 12:56pm California time. At 1:15 I came outside to search for my package. It was NOWHERE to be found. I checked the front of the house, the side of the house, the back of the house. I was afraid that the package had been stolen from my property or that it had simply not been delivered at all. At about 1:30 I called T-Mobile to find out what had happened and to report the non-delivery. I first spoke to a T-Mobile representative called Melodeon in Salem Oregon and reported the non-delivery of the phone. She passed me on to April in tech support in the Philippines. The only thing I could do was to ask for a new phone to be shipped to me as the package had been delivered to the wrong address or stolen somehow. By this time, I was already on the phone for the greater part of two hours with T-Mobile. They told me they could not override a replacement order that had been issued and could not send me out another phone. It was my responsibility to contact UPS and figure out what had happened. I asked to be put through to UPS on the same call with T-Mobile. When UPS come on the line it was already past 15:00pm. The people at UPS were uncooperative and unpleasant. They basically accused me of not being able to find their package. I was angry as I had searched everywhere for my package and it simply was not there. While I was on waiting time to UPS, at 15:39pm the package was finally delivered to my house. When UPS came back on the line after a long hold, I explained that the package had at last arrived at 15:39 and not at 12:56. Then the representative at UPS said it had simply been a timing error on their machinery and it was not a big deal. My conclusion: I had wasted T-mobile’s time and my own time because of a text message from UPS that was off by more than 2 hours. UPS is a company with years of expertise in precise controlling of their deliveries. A mistake of 2-1/2 hours in the timing stamp on the delivery time of a package is unforgivable. This UPS error caused me endless anxiety and worry and basically embarrassed me in the eyes of T-mobile. I asked to be put through to the UPS complaints department. The agent listened to my anger and said that there was nothing that she could do for me. I am gravely disappointed in the services that UPS did not provide and in the way they simply sloughed me off when I explained the unpleasantness of being accused of not finding my own package and of being doubted that I was telling the truth. I think that UPS owes me an apology for their appalling customer service. I deserve compensation for their unpleasantness and unprofessionalism.

What has happened to UPS? It used to be extremely reliable and now the exact opposite is true.I can understand an occasional slip-up or my package being loaded on the wrong truck once, but not only is the service now abominable, I can request information from a robot that spits out standard answers that have nothing to do with my inquiry or speak with someone on another continent who has no helpful information. And while I’m at it, I don’t appreciate drivers handing my dog a biscuit without asking first. She is on a special diet for severe allergies. I’m spending many dollars trying to find the source of her problems. Eating dog biscuits that she cannot have entirely mess up the medical protocol. Why can’t drivers have the common sense to ask first? I sincerely wish there was a better option for deliveries. My pharmacy sends a schedule 3 medication every month via second day air. Last month it arrived on the fifth day. Looking at the other reviews I believe it is time for UPS to step up to the plate and get their act together.
