Thank you Trupanion for everything you have done for Angela. We only signed up since Angel's 6th birthday,and it is a decision we will forever be grateful. No one can predict or wish we ever needed the insurance. Angel was diagnosed with mammary cancer in Jan 2020. In 2020, she had 2 surgeries and 5 chemotherapy treatments. While we thought the worst is over, the same cancer came back and this time it was on her back right leg. In Mar we took the difficult decision to remove the leg, but it wasn't enough to save her life. And she eventually passed last Friday :( Nonetheless, I would like to thank Trupanion for the financial backing (covered $18k of $30k total vet expenses) and their staff for the support along the journey.

I’m new to the insurance world for pets. The two associates that helped me- Kelsey and Christian were outstanding!I was a little nervous and didn’t understand much, they were so understanding and helpful. By the end of our conversations I was 100% confident with my choice and signed up then and there! I would recommend trupanion to anyone! I have two American Akita‘s insured by true Pinyan. Unbeknownst to me my older girl ended up with two twisted femurs and my younger girl seizures.Thanks to Trupanion I’ve been able to give them the quality care that they have needed! They’ve always been extremely helpful with all of my needs. I would highly recommend them! Veterinary care is really expensive and I’m happy that I did not have to make the choice whether to take my dogs to the vet or not. Thanks Trupanion I have the peace of mind knowing whatever happens they can get the best care possible.

I had a guy name Phil that was helping me. I could tell that this company wasn’t going to be the best due to his attitude.The way he handled the call is going to make me question every step I make going forward with this company. You are suppose to make the customer feel at home and not like they can’t afford the price that you are setting before them. He might need some real training on that. It wasn’t until he found out I was prior military then he started to have a change of heart which is sad.

First time pet owner and pet insurance . I’ve reviewed and compared coverages and this seems to be the most comprehensive in coverage .Hopefully I’ll never have to use it. I purchased Trupanion insurance for my dog in 2016, when she was a 12 week old puppy.My dog subsequently developed eczema and I use the insurance to pay for her medications. Trupanion invoice processing is clear and fast. The claims are handled rapidly as is the payment of the claim. On the rare occasion I needed to contact the company, everyone on the phone are courteous and helpful. Trupanion is a model for any insurance, people or animal.
