Todocoleccion removes honest but neg feedback for bad sellers

I had been using Todocoleccion since 2014 but the experiences got worse and worse.Sellers can have negative feedback removed just by asking but as a buyer you cannot. So, one typical experience (Dochromo) resulted in an empty envelope arriving. I signed for it not knowing it is empty. It's too late then. They can prove I signed. Well, argument with seller follows, I leave negative feedback, he does the same. I lose. He loses nothing, gets my cash and keeps his item, to sell again in a few months time. Todocoleccion removes my negative feedback for him. His for me stands even though i wrote to Todocoleccion. This creates an impression that a seller is reliable and trustworthy - well, they seem to have no bad reviews (because Tolocoleccion removed them!) so people like me fall into the trap of sending money to people like them. I thought it was a one off. I was wrong. It's happened a handful of times, empty envelopes, or the wrong item, or damaged goods due to insufficient packaging and every time Todo cancels my negative reviews of its sellers - but allows them to review me badly when all I did was pay on time. Enough! Do not use Todocoleccion is my advice.

you're on your own if you are scammed. support will not do more than send some useless notifications.in the end you will lose money and the seller will be free to scam other buyers. you won't even be able to leave negative feedback. I'm giving two stars because you will find honest sellers, but in the end is it worth the hassle and the huge risk of getting nothing for your money?

Horrible experiences, 2. Items lost, and sellers refuse to answer messages. You take a lot of chances to get hard to find items if you are a collector but shopping here is a lose lose situation.Even if the seller has many favorable reviews you will most likely get hosed and loose your money. Also check of the ratings of correos, the countries main way to ship. If you think todo is bad...

Before attempting to buy from the site, I read reviews, such as the ones here on Trustpilot.I saw many people claiming the site had scammers. I figured I would still check myself anyways. Because of the reviews though, I was being very careful. The first person I tried to buy from would only accept payment through bank transfer. He also put that if the item gets "lost" in the mail that it is not his problem. Then Todocoleccion states they will not get involved in disputes. I still decided to push a bit farther and bought the item. When I spoke to the seller, I asked him twice how much the entire price would be, including shipping. He never replied. He was far to busy focusing on telling me his bank info so I could send him money. Just like most scammers, they dont pay attention to people when they see they are so close to their goal. I refused the item and told him to relist it. Todocoleccion then got involved by telling me to pay for it. I ignored them. Second person I tried to buy from accepted payment by bank transfer or credit card. I contacted the seller and said I would not do a bank transfer. I asked what was meant by credit card payment. The seller did not respond which leads me to believe it was like I figured. The seller was likely wanting me to provide all my credit card details directly. How stupid would that be? Im sure there are some good sellers there. But it is not worth the aggravation of breaking apart each situation for scammer behavior. Too many other sites to choose from. There are a lot of good items on Todocoleccion though. It is likely because nobody wants to risk being scammed, or possibly because it is just bait. Saw a couple of rare things I cannot find anywhere else.

This site has good and very bad sides
A lot of Spanish sellers, are overcharging the postal fees,i.o.w they make money on the postal fees
When you point this out, they become violently wild, and leave disgusting feedbacks, NO HELP from the management at all
They expect the buyer to pay for registered mail, as they claim that their postal system is bad!
I had both : paid registered : and the package was delivered as normal mail!
I paid the normal fee : NEVER received the package
Many sellers have a vast amount of neg. feedbacks!!!
Many of them refuse to speak French or English
Condition : is another issue : sometimes it looks as the item(s) went through 3 wars...at least : you complain : no reply
Wrapping ( they charge : handling time, petrol/ gas to go the post office, paper wrap , masking tape..
Several sellers are obsessed about the pay pal fees, and please make sure: you use the "send to a friend" option, otherwise it is hell
Several sellers, do not even bother to reply, and if you insist: they block you
I do not know, if you can write the names of the sellers, but some of them are such a rip off...they actually are very good in sending repro stuff instead of the original
I buy little now...
anyway good luck to all buyers and bidders, and I reconfirm that the above info is real

I bought a carrera Pontiac GTO slot car. I was overwhelmed with the seller for communication, helpful,understanding & patience.
At first I thought there’d be a language barrier but that sorted itself out with automatic translations.
The parcel arrived within a couple of weeks, very well packed with additional layers of packaging.

What a BS outfit! I ordered a 78 record through this organization, in spite of overwhelmingly negative on line reviews.The seller offering the record had favorable reviews and it was a record I really wanted so I took a chance. Well that's about $40 out the window. The record arrived this morning in a small flat box with two thin layers of styrofoam and no other protection, and was neatly broken into two halves when I unpacked it. Apart from that, even had the record been whole it would barely have rated Good on the Gold Mine scale. It was a mass of severely gray grooves indicating heavy wear, and had scratches and needle holes. A reputable seller would have provided disclosure of the records poor condition and would have invested an additional couple of dollars to provide adequate packaging to ensure the safe arrival of the record within

I bought a record from a seller in Spain ( Vicente Lopez Gomez/Devil Records, Valencia )- he sent me the wrong record which he admitted, and then refused a refund. He asked to use the Family and Friends option in Paypal. You are then not covered by insurance and you can do nothing to recover the money. When, after 17 messages back and forth with the seller who was clearly obfuscating, I complained to Todocoleccion and they did nothing. It is a site for scammers. BE WARNED.
