Support.com is not a factual company. They claim their techs are in North America. Really?Since when did Manila, the Philippines float over to become part of North America?
The Support.com techs refer their clients to Microsoft, Dell, etc, for help; they act more like tour guides then tech reps while charging substantial fees. I have a phone-book too.
Their use of voice over internet protocol for customer service makes their heavily accented customer service reps almost unintelligible.
Stay the hell away.read more

My computer was a mess, i had strange pop ups , i couldn't surf the machine was restarting - theytalked with me for about 15 minutes and we were able to get online again then they got in driver seat remotely and proceeded to not only clean viruses and ad-ware off my machine but tune it up better then when I received it brand new. No joke my computer new didn't run as good as it did after they tuned it. I signed up for an annual subscription for tech support not only do they tune it when ever I ask, whether it need s it or not but they help with everything, not just tell you someone else handles that like most support. Try them out you won't regret doing so, I promise.read more
