At stickK, we're passionate about behavior change. Founded on the principles of behavioral economics, our goal-setting framework allows users to create Commitment Contracts to leverage incentives and accountability in changing their behavior. stickK launched in 2008 with a consumer facing website that is free to use. You start by defining your goal—anything from losing 15 pounds or running a marathon to saving money, watching less TV, or completing first draft of masters thesis. From there, you set the stakes. Studies show that people are up to three times more likely to achieve a goal if their own money is on the line, so as part of your Commitment Contract, we encourage you to put your money where your mouth is--agreeing to forfeit a set amount if you don't succeed at your goal. Next, designate a trusted friend or family member to verify your progress report as your Referee. Lastly, invite your friends to follow your Commitment and cheer you along as Supporters, who'll receive weekly updates on your progress. By creating a Commitment Contract, you put your goal in writing, set a timeline, and give yourself additional incentives to achieve it. stickK users have signed more than 465,000 Commitment Contracts and put over $42 million dollars at stake through our consumer-facing website. In 2010, stickK launched a private label version of our public platform for organizations to use to encourage behavior change with their constituents. These programs are each customized to the specific needs of our clients and come in all shapes and sizes. Large employers use stickK to run employee wellness programs and offer rewards for success and engagement. Hospitals and healthcare providers provide programs for patients, and businesses offer programs to their consumers to increase brand awareness. Really annoying, you cannot cancel this silly thing. And I have already "donated" twice to a charity that I absolutely hate,not because I did not keep my commitment but because I did not log into this website to put a tick. Avoid it, it will just give you additional work to do. I will have to even add it to my work calendar now, what on earth!

stickK.com is the best app so far I managed to find to keep you on track to achieve your goal.Money commitment increases the chance of success by about 300%.
I use stickK for 2 weeks now and I already made huge progress in exercising regularly. A mobile app is very useful and comfortable to use. Its design is very good. I use stickK on both Mac and iPhone and I am very satisfied.
To sum up I would recommend stickK to everyone who is enough committed to achieve a goal by making a small financial risk decision.

the zendesk does not reply on time. In case the entitlement is towards a friend, and for any reason it does not get encashed,they forfeit the amount without your approval.
Pathetic experience, the money is not utilised in any charity, but consumed by stickk itself. Its a FRAUD stay away !

Using StickK has changed my life and saved me money

I used StickK for 13 weeks, last year, and it changed my whole financial world. It's a site that lets you make a commitment to achieve or stop something,on your own terms, it asks you to make weekly reports on your progress (or failure) and is really simple to use.
While I used it in 2018, I kept a regular note of my spending (- it shocked me to see what I was spending prior to StickK) and saved money, was aware of what I was spending at all times and it made me feel so in control.
Since ending the commitment in early December 2018, I continued to do well, on my own, for a couple of months, but then Christmas happened! While that shouldn't have been a problem, as I was keeping a note of my spend, I started to spend on wasteful things again and began to feel out of control again, so now, I've renewed my commitment with StickK, to "Stop Wasting Money", again for the whole of this year, to ensure I stay on the right track.
StickK is great - it's free to use (but you can opt to pay to a charity of your choice if you fail and you can say how much you want to forfeit - and I have failed a few times so... lucky Charity!). You can opt to have someone referee you or you can be honest and referee yourself...I do this myself and I'm pretty brutal with myself!
