Purchased a pair of sandals last month. After a few hours of wearing them, the straps started to come apart.I called customer service and they told me to take them back to the store. I told them I was on vacation at the time I purchased them and lived over 3 hours away. She told me there was nothing she could do. As much as I paid for those sandals they should have either refunded my money or at least shipped me out another pair.

Stop ordering from Stevemadden.com!!!

I ordered a pair of heels from SM website, and they did arrive in a couple days. But when I went to try them on,left side was a 6 and right side was a 6.5! How does this even happen anymore? So I contacted customer service through chat, fast response and they offered to send a replacement and provide a return label for the wrong ones. Cool. First pair took a couple days.... replacement pair has been close to 2 weeks! I received a FedEx tracking but they never scanned the box so no update on tracking. Now I contact SM for the 3rd time to only tell me, "oops, you're right. Seems fedex never scanned the box and the package might be lost" HAHA! lost. Total joke. Their solution, we will let another department know so they can find another pair and expedite but you'll have to wait more days to get it by email.
To the person who manages customer service, warehouse packaging, and shipment facilities......you need to supervise and perform quality checks on your staff. They're doing a terrible job and the bad reviews will only keep coming. It's sad because my claim all started by your staff being negligent, yet I'm the one that suffers. Pathetic management.

The main webpage states “free ground shipping on orders over $50”, but what it fails to state is that sale items are NOT included in this and shipping is $8.95.This is extremely misleading advertising. Companies should stop sneaking money out of their customers and be honest in their advertising.

Not sure what's happening at Steve Madden. It's as if Steve is doing the shipping by himself.
I've placed several orders that when I hit purchase,and they charged me, I was told and expecting the ship date, only to be changed. Not only changed, delayed by a month plus, and didn't bother to contact me. That's terrible logistics and customer service. By the time you get the product it will be out of season...
I've had to cancel a few, and I'm the idiot whose still taken a chance, as recent as a couple of days ago.
Their products aren't inexpensive either. It's not OK to take hard-earned money during Covid.

I am extremely disappointed. I purchased the Alexaa Black sandals back in June, and it hasn’t even been six months and the strap is becoming unglued.I wore them not even 15 times? So I contacted customer support and I was in disbelief.
1) The first agent is telling me the email I’m using isn’t coming up in their database, even though that’s the email they originally sent me my receipt and tracking number to.
2) The first agent now has to get a second one to assist, that agent then tells me the shoe was purchased too long ago and unfortunately they can’t do anything. I repeat I barely wore the shoes and the quality must be crap then if it breaks so soon, only to be responded to with “we’re sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding” nice scripted responses.
3)Other companies would’ve at least given some %off next order, a store credit that expires even, but I guess Steve Madden pretends to be luxe but is really just cheap and overpriced. Also now you can’t find the shoe anywhere on the site, and my login won’t work either so I don’t know what shadiness you’re doing but you lost a customer.

I was so excited to open my mail when my order arrived from Steve Madden. I ordered 2 pairs of shoes ans 2 handbags.When I opened the box I thought maybe wish.com shipped me something in a Steve madden box. The handbags looked like they were made on the way over, covered in glue and string. The shoes were so small and had glue on them as well. I was ultimately left baffled. I called CS immediately and was met with the most uncaring support. The agent could have cared less, never apologized just said ok I will ship you a return label. Then I guess I will send you the items. I still have never received a confirmation that they are resenting me the handbags. The shoes will have to go back as well. AM I IN THE TWILIGHT ZONE?! Since Steve Madden is such a well known, "high end" brand, I assumed the service and products would match. I receive better customer service from my corner gas station. NEVER AGAIN. someone needs to get in there and do some major damage control.

Do not buy shoes from this company. Being expensive, i mistakenly thought they would be well made.Unfortunately this was not the case. I wore these shoes 10 times max - all very light wear and the whole top came away from the bottom. I contacted the company who refused to take responsibility and denied that they even had this shoe in their product range. I wish I had viewed how poorly everyone else viewed this company before i purchased
