Nightmare! Almost missed my flight. I booked through spot hero a parking spot by Vista near Newark Airport.I prepaid on the spot hero app and got my confirmation. Everything seemed to be ok until I arrived to Vista parking on the day of my flight and really nasty worker at Vista parking told me he refused to take me because he doesnt take ppl from spot hero and that his lot was full. Only by miracle the front desk person had mercy on me and took me in, if not, everything would have been ruined!!!
Spot hero must stop working with Vista parking or else they will loose a lot of clients.

Was towed from spot hero space after 30 minutes

Used the spot hero app to secure parking in a Chicago parking lot, in the space reserved for spot hero and we were towed 30 minutes later.They can’t explain why and don’t care in the slightest. We spent two hours and $200 to retrieve our car back. Essentially the towing company STOLE our car and held it hostage leaving us with no choice, but to pay what they demanded to get it back. Spot hero would not help in any way. They are a criminal company and WILL NEVER use them again. Warning to all you can be towed with no explanation if you park in a spot hero space.

I used Spot hero twice. The first time was in San Francisco.
I reserved the space which supposed come with a free shuttle to SF Airport.After arrived a hotel nearby , I parked my car in the hotel’s designated parking area, I went inside the hotel and asked the receptionist where I should waited for the airport shuttle. They told me there is no shuttle due to the pandemic. So I ended up to park my car the airport garage.
Second incident was the last weekend. I reserved a parking spot online. I entered the ground parking area as Google said “you’ve arrived “ I parked my car there. After 8 hours I returned to my car, I found $88 parking violation ticket attached to my windshield. I was shocked.
I called Spothero talked customer service agent explained I followed the instructions spothero gave me. But they said I didn’t follow the instructions.
They gave me the address of the parking area, but they didn’t give me the name of the parking company. Incidentally I parked my car to the area owned my a private company where I didn’t see any sign of “private parking or Spothero parking.
After all I contact the parking company and email the copy of the parking confirmation by Spothero this the private company canceled the parking ticket.
Can’t trust the company and I will not use Spothero ever again.

On April 12, 2021, I had a very bad experience at the lot located at 13 Gold Street in downtown Manhattan.I had made a reservation in advance through Spot Hero. When I arrived, I was told that my vehicle was too big and they would not accept it. This was despite the fact that (1) the web details for this lot says it accepts SUVs, (2) I paid the oversize charge in advance, and (3) my make and model of vehicle was specifically listed on the reservation confirmation that Spot Hero e-mailed to me.
I told the attendant that I had a reservation, but that did not seem to matter----so what is the point of Spot Hero accepting reservations and taking my money if you don't honor your commitment? I asked for my money back and that went nowhere. The attendant (don't blame him, just doing his job) then got a "boss" on the phone who told me that they would take my vehicle, BUT if I did not return within two (2) hours, they would charge me an ADDITIONAL $30.00. I had already paid to park all day! How is it even remotely legal to charge even more on top of that for just a few hours? I duly returned within the threatened two hours, which caused great interruption to my business plans---YES, I had to appear in person in NYC on business on a weekend.
This was a miserable experience. I will be NOT recommending Spot Hero to anyone. Your business practices are unacceptable and I question if they are legal.

Today my entire body is in pain. I used spot hero to park at 120 N Lasalle in Chicago.The site said they had valet parking. When I arrived the employee told me to park on six. Ended up parking on 7. Walked down seven flights of stairs because I didn't see an elevator. Once you enter the stairwell signs are posted saying exit ground floor only. I have a handicap. When I returned there was an elevator but it only stopped on the third floor. The employee told me that if I wanted my vehicle I had to use the stairs and pointed out a 2nd set of stairs. This site should warn people about garage limitations. On a positive note exiting the garage was easy.

Bought a parking pass for a lot in Miami, FL. The lot was supposed to have on site staff and be a protected lot.However, the spot was in a rough part of Miami and the gates were open. When returning from a Miami Heat game, the lot was completely dark and did not even have a security light or on site staff. I felt unsafe and lied to by SpotHero. Disappointed and frustrated with this experience.

Had a girl's trip to Nashville a couple of weeks ago and we used Spot Hero to reserve a parking spot prior to arriving.When we arrived we found out the parking garage was locked up and was unusable. We then were sent to another parking garage that was in the middle of nowhere and we also could not park our car there. Ended up having to park at our hotel which Spot Hero said they would give us a full refund for the parking spot we never got and the hotel fee we were now spending. We clarified many times that we were parking at a hotel and would need a refund on our cards. They failed to tell us at the time that the "account" meant Spot Hero credit and have refused to give us a refund for our hotel parking because it is not Spot Hero parking. We have talked to them for an hour and they have refused to help or listen. Terrible customer service, do not use this company!
