It had been years since our last visit. Went to Trinity Park drive through in Stockton, CA.Two burgers were delivered to our car and came completely COLD. We complained and returned burgers. Second set arrived fairly quickly and were COMPLETELY COLD again!
We begrudgingly drove off and ate cold burgers. Sad part is that it would have been a fairly decent sandwich had the meat received any attention...

Hello Sonic Headquarters, I am from the OKC metro area and just moved to Washington, Missouri.Two times now I've waited 15 mins for someone to take my order. 1st time in October 2020: waited another 20 minutes and then someone walked to my car and took my order and she apologized and said "the order taker doesn't work." I asked, "Why is there no sign?" She said, "We aren't. Allowed to put a sign on it." I said, "Sooo your management or owner would rather we sit here for 20 minutes without placing an order?" She just apologized again.
2nd time: Sitting at the order taker to the left of number 10 with no one coming (never got the exact number). I finally got out of my car and asked a carhop I believe his name was Andrew (wearing a blue and white check button-down shirt and black pants) Who is a manager or assistant manager. "does this order taker not work?" He said, "no. It doesn't." I said, "why's there no sign?" We aren't allowed to put an out-of-order sign." I said, "that's ridiculous. How do I give my order? Is someone coming to take my order?" He said, "no. Just move to one that works." He gestured to which ones don't work. I couldn't tell where he was pointing. I informed him that I'll report this to headquarters in OKC. He didn't care. I asked him if the stall to the right of me worked and he said, "yes."I moved to another one and the pic I took shows the order taker sign that's out of order so I cannot see the order. He then asked me to see the screen. However the Number 10 says crash dump so he read the order to me. Andrew got it right. I waited 20 minutes for my order. Took the order in my car. It was the Wrong order then the car hop took the order back and brought it to another car. (Isn't there new rules about the sanitariness of that now?) Then I waited another five minutes and another carhop (name started with an A) brought me my order of two footlong hot dogs with mustard, a large lemonade, and a bag of ice. This woman carhop is who told me the original man was Andrew a manager. You'd think after all this I'd get a free meal? Nope!
Driving away I saw Andrew in the back and took a shot of him on the phone. Wearing black pants and smoking.
This Sonic is not in good working order. It is unsanitary, and the manager whether an assistant or general manager is unprofessional.
Just moved here from Oklahoma.

Went to the Sonic in the Fairway Park Shopping Center and ordered a limeade with a burrito.Very fast and friendly service. Only recommendation is to create a larger lot for drive in traffic. Otherwise, I'm very happy with my experienceread more

What is the deal with this place? The idea is good and simple: Drive-in fast food.Most people want drinks at SONIC, but they never seem to get them correct. I doubt I have ever had 2 in a row correct. If you ask for extra ice because you are tired of getting almost none, they will fill it to the top and you get no liquid. We have 2 locations near me, both are equally terrible. Frozen drinks are a crap shoot if they are mixed or not. You may get a good one, you may get a pale yellow blob with all the mix all at the bottom. That straw is not rigid enough to stir this mix up. It is a disappointing, $4 mess. Regrets.
The food is pretty bad too. The oil in the fryer is far too old, so the fries or tater tots taste burned although they aren't. The corn dog is definitely a must miss for this reason. I like corn dogs....not SONIC's though. What are we going to do as a customer? Drive back through and complain over a couple of drinks? I have done this, but it just puts the employees on the defensive and they aren't pleasant. Why is constructive criticism viewed as negative these days? Doesn't seem worth my time to complain directly about the service, and I never learn the lesson. I just go and so what kind of day it will be.
I will say something positive though......the App is a good thing. If you go to this place, get the app. It allows me to avoid the 3000 decibel "BEEP!!!!" when I order at the drive-in console! Drinks are half price all day and I think communication is far better. A downside of the app is that since you pay through the app, there is no option to give a tip to the carhop. In an increasingly electronic payment world....and the nonsense scare of COVID, it is less likely I will have a cash dollar in my wallet for a tip. That is bad for the carhop. Hey SONIC, you're an American tradition, start caring about customer service! And change the oil in the fryer while you're making improvements.read more

The one in Lakewood CO 80228... My husband has been yelled at, there was an employee who came outside to look at us "I guess" he was filthy!!,His fly was down, and his hair was greasy... No dress code for him. We received our food 30 minutes later, (because they were short handed.) No one came out to tell us sorry but we are short handed (NOPE they let us and another family wait 30 minutes. FOOD WAS so GROSS!!!!!!!!!!! We had to throw it out! We asked for our money back and the manager REFUSED! We swore we would never go back but I did. I went for two breakfast burritos before work. I was the only one in line, how can you mess up one order? I get to work, and I had one burrito and it was not what I ordered. Now we haven't been back and never will. They need to tear it down and PLEASE put in a Burger King.read more
