Setapp is the best application available. It’s so easy to use and has literally hundreds of different apps included.I thought that was the best part of it. However, I’ve found that the support is phenomenal. The company itself has integrity and actually cares about its customers. Recently I’ve contacted them for a little assistance and they over-achieved. This is one company who actually under-promises and OVER-DELIVERS! If there are any reviews saying otherwise, I would find them very hard to believe. Trust me, this will be the most useful and best app you buy. It’s truly one you won’t want to live without. Thank you #SetApp for being a truly amazing company and actually caring about your customers. The new apps you keep adding are fantastic.

Pdf Pen App on mac is not what i expected it to be! I mean considering the fact that we pay the subscription for setapp on mac,i expect the pdf app to be pretty decent.But hello no,When you click copy,thats about the action you would be able to perform on the app until you close and re open and its pretty much the same for every first choosen action performed as soon as you open the app. Its pure Bull****,Not worth my subscription,i expect set App to do better!

I have been paying for Setapps service now for just less than a year and have it installed on two large devices and have yet to put it on my phone,thats coming though. So what everyone knows is you pay a monthly sub and you get access to over 150 apps. Thats the basics.
More than a subscription service, Setapp is like your surgical assistant, before you ask for the scalpel, its in his hands passing it to you. There are some real gems with the bundle, and if I was to name them and missed one, I doubt they would be too happy, so I wont, in place I shall probably take the time to write about each one here.
Once you start with Setapp, you have joined up to a community. They have a great customer service, fantastic wit, and we know what we mean. You can always get hold them and they are always bringing new stock on board. Funny YouTube ads too.

Charging 50% more for "mobile" which are just 7 apps?!

Charging 50% more for mobile devices now. I have been using Ulysses more than any other app on Setapp,and this always worked for the Mac and iOS as well as iPadOS. Now Setapp ist selling its new and very limited iOS apps but is charging 25 % more _per_device_. Event the support itself says that there are only few apps on iOS, so how do they figure I will pay 50% more per year to use the exact same apps than before?
I have been 2 years with Setapp now, and there are only a few really good apps in there. And then there is a load of mediocre apps that might do the trick sometimes, but sometimes you just spend a lot of time looking for the right one. Honestly, I think they should be ditching some of the older and less useful apps.

I would have given Setapp 5-stars a few months ago. It is a great service which offers a wide range of quality apps for a monthly subscription fee.However, they have recently made some incredibly poor business decisions. In an effort to bilk their loyal users out of more money, they first reduced the number of Macs that you could use the software from two down to a single machine. This was done without any warning. Now, they want to charge an additional fee for each mobile device. Previously this was included. Many long-term users are cancelling their accounts in disgust. Such a shame that a once-great company is being dragged down by poor management decisions.

Costly way to go if you use mobile device

Everything was good, but they recently started charging for using mobile apps that accompany the Mac app,and you either have to use a mobile device as one of your seats - you get 2 - or pay more.
There has been a long post explaining this on Facebook, but considering my cost to the end of 2020 is around $340 since I have been using Setapp, they have treated loyalty poorly and not modernised their approach like other providers - 5 computers plus free mobile devices.
I have cancelled my subscription now and purchasing the apps I need, or finding alternatives, which will work out a lot cheaper.
Their Product Manager's has made a statement on FB, but I actually think it is time for their CEO to say something.
