I purchased a Scott Aspect 960 29er bike from the Kalgoorlie My Ride store on Boulder road,the bike was only approx 8 months old when I was made to pay for a new rear gear cluster due to what I would call incompetent servicing at the local bike store - in disgust I decided to just sell the what I would rate as a pretty average type of mountain bike for its price, the owner of the store said something along the lines of "I am not changing the gears enough" as to why this part needed to be replaced - was told by them that the people at Scott didn't believe that this item should be covered by warranty - been about 3 months now since I on sold the bike but still eats at me as to the level of service and so call warranty made available to the buying public, sent this to Scott Sports after the sale of bike, never had a reply.

Do not honor bike order with high prejudice for customer

I ordered a bike in early September 2020, less than a month after its release, with a late March/early April delivery schedule.
I learn a week ago that my bike will not be delivered,with no trade or arrangement.
The prejudice on my side is high :
-During the waiting, I ordered specific wheelset/accessories to match my bike, they are now irrelevant and are useless cost
-Lost 10% discount from my LBS
-Bike price increase from 10-15% during this time
-There is no bike stock for 6-8month
Loss: 16-18 month of bike wait / 1500 k€ budget
I also know that orders taken 1 or 2 months after mine have been delivered
I can not recommend a brand who not honor a contract with no compensation

Low quality and low customer service and the quality they sell to peolpe not spouse to be sold in Ukfor the value they sell it’s scammers and the customers service they have not even valid for chicken shop .. Ido not recommended . Waste of money and time

Placed an order and paid for, item still not arrived. Sent off customer service form more times than id like to remember,sent emails also. No response to any of these and no contact number to speak to a human. Quick enough to take the money and now no way of any contact......poor customer service. Not a happy customer

Horrendous waste!

My husband purchased a top of the ranch MTB helmet 2 years ago. The only fault is that the chin strap and liner have de-laminated.He wrote to Scott to replace these items only to find that his only option is to buy a full helmet (although heavily discounted). Where is their eco policy? This is an appalling waste of resources to thrown away a perfectly good piece of kit! Replacement liner etc sourced from a small company via Amazon, no wonder they are doing so well. Shame on you Scott.

WORST BIKE BRAND EVER

If you are after a bike, that stands by their warranties and offers good customer service,then DONT buy a Scott.
I bought 3 bikes from them.
2 of them had warranty issues - 1 within 6 months, they acknowledged the defect, but said I should of bought the bike back after 30 days and told me they would do nothing else.
