I would not leave any stars if it were possible. Total scam. Received two $50 gift cards for restaurant.com registered both,same day same time. Checked my account, only given credit for one. Tried online to get an answer to the problem, “ask a question”, no reply. Tried to call, on hold 10 minutes then cut off. Tried to call back, appears I was blocked, phone didn’t even ring. I called the company that sent me the gift cards and they told me I was one of hundreds with the same complaint and they no longer will do business with restaurant.com. Hopefully either will no one else.

They suck. They took my money and give me restaurants that won’t accept them or are closed. What a scam.They are crooks. They have my money and I have no way to use them. I mean they require you to spend $30 at a outdoor hot dog stand which is impossible. They suck.

I was introduced to restaurant.com through my mobile plan, which tries to use them as a reward.I tried "redeeming" certificates at two different restaurants and it didn't work. One was permanently CLOSED. The other cursed at me when I showed the coupon and told me to get out of the restaurant-- no kidding. The third time I was going to try it, I'd learned a little bit, so I tried to call the restaurant before getting the certificate. The place had been closed for over four years, and the owner didn't have nice things to say about Restaurant.com. Obviously, these people are shady. Avoid them at all costs.

Need to verify if restaurant will accept coupon in advance

This will work if you want to spend time finding if the restaurant will accept the coupon.They never update their places and will not refund your money. There is an option to exchange which you will end up using a lot of the time. Impossible to get a hold of a rep and useless when and if you do. The other thing is the restaurants tend to have poor reviews and that is why they don't post the reviews of customers any more. So, all in all, it is a crap shoot.
