They are con artists, stay away!

They are crooks. Stay away! They lied about giving me the last room in order to get me to pay upfront.They said they were taking $124 off my card, including a pet fee, free parking and discount. The hotel charged me $114 for everything and even then this website took $185 off if my card. Since I could not book directly through Comfort Suit they can not do anything to change it. Reservations never sent me an Email to confirm the reservation or amount, and I had to spend all night trying to find the number of the hotel and confirm we had a place to stay. Now this site won't take my call to answer why they charged $185 when the hotel confirmed they only charged $114 and sent me an Enail to prove it. I hope they do not continue to do business with crooks who do not send documents so you can track them and use scare tactics to take advantage of people in difficult situations.

Worst Company Ever! Stay Away!

This is the worst company I have ever done business with in the last 50 years. They are a complete scam!They have built a search engine that interrupted my normal hotel inquiry, leading me to believe I was booking with the hotel directly.
AFTER I completed the reservations, and received the confirmation email, I saw:
1. The rate was not the rate I agreed on, but higher.
2. Fees and taxes had been assessed that equaled MORE THAN % of my rental.
3. A non refundable provision was added in the receipt.
When I called to complain, they told me not only did the fees appear before I was to have “confirmed” the reservation. They also conveyed in addition to the fees, there was a no refund policy posted as well. That was it. They basically said have a nice day and hung up. What I think is astounding is while they lay claim these “fees” and non refundable policy was clearly written before confirming the reservation, I have just read through countless complaints on this site where people have alleged like me, they received no notice. What seems clear is regardless of whether the notice of fees and the non refundable policy was actually posted, if it was posted, it was done in such a way that counted consumers were able to navigate through their reservation site without every being aware these policies existed.
My only hope is you are upset as I am this company has scammed us and are willing to take a few minutes to file a complaint against them with the Attorney General’s office of Florida where they are headquartered. It is a quick and easy process. Simply google Florida Attorney General File a Complaint against a Business and the form will come right up.
As grounds, I would suggest conveying (1) their site “popped up” while you were trying to make a reservation. (2)The rate advertised was not what you got. (3)There was no advance warning of the fees. (4)There was no advance warning it was not refundable. And please include (5) the fees assessed were more than 50% of the actual reservation. (My hotel, $62. The fees and taxes assessed, $46!)

I was looking for a reasonable price for a hotel stay. They claimed to have the best price.I put in all my information and booked for 2 nights for the price that they advertised. When I got the confirmation email, they changed it to 1 night with the price of 2. When I called them they would not honor the 2 nights and hung up on me. I spent a total of 8 hours and 7 different people trying to get my refund, to which every single "agent" hung up on me. They were extremely rude, unprofessional and lied to me providing me false information with pretend extension numbers and recordings of all my calls, when I tell them to bring it up and listen to the false promises the previous "agents" have made to resolve anything. They tell me they don't have those calls. So, NOTHING WAS or HAS been resolved! I also contacted the hotel itself and spoke with the owner. I even 3 way called this company with the owner of the hotel. They still wouldn't refund me or honor what was advertised. I even took pictures of what I purchased, I sent the pictures via email to them and they still wont honor or refund. Also, even what I paid was over priced according to the hotel owner. I am very unhappy with this scamming company. I hope they are shut down soon so that no one else gets scammed by these frauds.

I reserved a room on reservations.com- they charged me $113 for a $62 room. Who does that???Why would reserve a cheap room that I can pull up and get myself? I called them to reserve a 4-star hotel and ended up in a raunchy 2 star. I am tired from the long drive and afraid to sit on the furniture. I cant understand why they would place me somewhere like this when I clearly explained that I wanted a 4-star hotel.

I never even contacted this company for a reservation. I was on the website for the hotel.I called and spoke to the phone number listed for the hotel. I paid for up front the two nights. We had an emergency and did not stay both nights and even checked out prior to check out time. I told the front desk the emergency when we were leaving. We didn’t even get to go to our event that we drove 5 hours each way to attend. I have an elderly mother that fell and had to leave. There was no understanding or caring from either the Holiday Inn in Clute-Lake Jackson or Reservations.com. The hotel tried to tell me I reserved thru Expedia. I only called the hotel. Never anyone else. Long story short, they will not refund our one night I was requesting. Even though we were clearly out much earlier than check out. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY!!!!! RESERVATIONS.COM HAS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and will never receive a dime from us. I will continue to tell everyone my story. They could have clearly contacted the manager, Krue Bhakta, and verified we had to leave unexpectedly prior to check out.

Thinking that I was making a reservation directly with a Marriott hotel, I made a hotel reservation through Reservations.com on a website that deceptively appeared to be the hotel's own website.Less than 24 hours later I called to cancel the reservation. When I finally got my calls answered, I could only speak to people in the Phillippines and they were of no assistance saying that I could not obtain a refund. Then, looking at my credit card account, I found the charge contained a $19.99 charge by Reservations.com which I don't dispute but also a room charge by "CCi*Reservations.com" was never made by me or authorized to be made. When I could not seem to get any satisfaction from Reservations.com, I called the hotel and spoke to the manager. The manager told me that the reservation was not made by Reservations.com but was made by Priceline and that the hotel's contract with Priceline prevented a refund. But I did not make a reservation with Priceline and, because I knew of their no refund policy, I would not have made the reservation and this was never disclosed to me. What I believe is that Reservations.com charged me one price and then made the reservation itself or a company called Consumer Club, Inc. of Dallas, Texas, through Priceline and pocketed the difference.
