Renault Dealership in Menton sells a dangerous crash damaged car.

The Dacia Duster which we purchased from them on the 21/7/2020 the this year has had been a problem from the very start.We decided to purchase the car from the Renault dealership in Menton rather than buying it from a private seller, as we felt by putting our trust in an official dealership we would be getting a better quality car, however it seems sadly we were mistaken. When driving our car it pulls sharply to the right so you must agree that this is an incredibly dangerous fault. The Dealership say they have tried to fix it 4 times but have been unable to do so, in fact the last time it was returned to us it also started to pull to the left! We know we have been sold a car that has been in a serious accident and were not told the car's history. The first time we took the car in to be fixed my partner spoke with one of your mechanics. When he asked innocently what was the issue with the car, he mechanic responded, ..."you know what’s wrong with the car it’s been in an accident". The mechanic said this without realising we were the new owners of this three year old car! We had only had the car for 2 -3 weeks and most definitely had not been in an accident. Since then the car has been back and forth to yourselves around 4 times. Each time it has not been fixed or even improved. We have a report from Euro Master dated 10/11/2020 which we paid for ourselves despite being under warranty from Renault! The euro Master report states that the car is not functioning correctly. I am disgusted with Renault France, and especially during these difficult times when people are loosing their jobs and a car becomes even more vital tool in emergencies or to reach loved ones and help elderly relatives and for work. You have left us with a seriously unsafe vehicle and you as a company do not seem to care at all. We have a long drive coming up on the 2nd December and I’m now pleading with you to either change the car, fix the car, If we were to have an accident on the motorway, all of this is in email exchanges and is clear evidence of Renaults extreme negligence to its customers. The last email we received on the 16/11/2020 Mr Ogor Yoann chief mechanic at the cagnes sur mer Renault (which was the last place we were instructed to bring the car too) stated there is nothing wrong with the car. Well if that’s the case I invite a Renault staff member or Mr Ogor Yoann to drive in the car with us (again) and see the risk we are being put at every time we get inside the car. Also if that is the case you can take the car back and put the value against the purchase of a fully functioning Dacia Duster. I plan to give this story to the Nice Matin and share my experience with Renault on social media, I’m going to be a thorn in your side as you have been in ours. The general public need to be aware that it’s not safe to purchase second hand vehicles from Renault dealerships and that they are happy to sell on vehicles that have been in road accidents to unsuspecting customers such as my partner and I without informing them. In summary: Option 1 - Renault fix our car and make it safe and road worthy. Or offer us a financial settlement to make the car Road worthy. Option 2 - Renault take our car back which you describe a having no faults and do a deal on a new Dacia Duster to the same specifications as ours. I await your response

Cheat. I took my truck Renault Master last year and told them to give the truck a full check-up.They told me that checked it all and it was fine, also they changed the motor oil and filter, which was a clear. Later, I took the truck to vehicle specialist and told me that little oil was added and nothing else was done. Bad Service.

Better buy electric scooter

Stay away from them. Never buy Renault!! Car broken after 2 weeks of ownership i bought it as thecentral console fail the all infotainment wasn't working with flashing amber lights on the 8th of June 2020 and the car then broke 2 days after this time the AC Compressor failed they repaired it on the second week. Then they attempted another repair no parts in stock so no AC compressor as there is none available. After the last repair damage to the wing and front bumper panels with gaps in between and on top of it the all paintwork is ruined as it is sprayed with paint that was used nearby. I hate the day when i enter Renault and also my Case Manager dealing with the complaint is ignoring me no support from no one from the head office in UK Renault shouldn't really sell cars and services as no one deserves such a treatment. Do yourself a favor never buy a Renault!! Ever!! There is a person from the service i deal with and i feel sorry for him as he needs to answer for the all mess this Renault company does and he seems like a nice guy but what he can do in such a company! My car is less then two months now and less then 1000 miles but completely messed up!!

I am an italian customer. I have bought in 2015 a new Scenic with the R-Link Navigator System.My personal page on the italian website has never worked properly and I have never been able to update system nor maps. After long time of suffering i have made an inquiry to the customer service in Italy. Long story short: first I have chatted with a person that opened a ticket that was handled by a customer assistant via phone. This person told me that the problema was to be solved in France. Then silence for months. After months she called me telling me that everything was fixed. than I went on the system and bought a map update for 149 € that, guess what, was impossible to be downloaded on my SD card. Then I chatted again with an unpolite operator that siply opened a ticket one more time....I paid and got no service! I also could not use the free update for the first months as the system has never worked. I had to pay a fine because the maps did not show a restricted area and still I am waiting almostt 3 years by the purchase of the car. Renault for the last time in my life!
