What does re:publica do?
re:publica GmbH's re:publica Berlin is Europe's largest internet and digital society conference. re:publica 19 counted more than 25.000 visits during the three conference days. The participants came together to discuss current issues of digital society at the three-day festival. re:publica participants represent a cross-section of (digital) society, which include professionals from economics, politics, business, hacker culture, NGOs, media, and marketing, as well as bloggers, activists, artists, and social media experts. Roughly 50 percent of re:publica 19 speakers were women, ranking the event as one of the most inclusive of its kind.
Active visitor participation makes re:publica a unique event. Anyone can propose topics, ideas, or projects for the program, which creates a diverse set of subjects and exceptional networking opportunities.
re:publica's broad range of topics has been drawing an increasing number of sponsors and partners each year. Since 2014, this has included close collaborations with Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, as well as the international media convention MEDIA CONVENTION Berlin.
