Omanair just cancel my flight

We book my ticket since last week of March and my flight is May 3,2021 and omanair change to May1,2021 and then later on April 26, 2021 I receive a sms telling that my flight was change to May 27,2021. They cancel my flight without prior notice. We paid upfront amounting 600ro one way and they just cancel my flight without any explanation. What kind of service is that. The agent specifically wrote on my booking. Do not cancel for Exit. But they cancel. Everytime I call the customer service they told me they cannot help me. They told me no sit available. I am helpless even the agent are calling the local office but all they answer is we cannot help you. Then I waited for May 27,2021 and later on I found out that I don't have a booking on May 27, 2021. ? Because no e-ticket was released. Omanair will just unscheduled your flight without rebooking it. Then they will blame the agent. You unscheduled me so it is your responsibility to rebook me. Good the Philippines is not accepting passengers on May 15 to May 31,2021. And now instead of giving me priority seats because I wasted 1month waiting for May 27. Omanair did not bother to book me the soonest. I was even the one who called and ask the customer service to book my flight on June. And I got June 19,2021. I will spend another 1month waiting paying for all my bills. Even I need to go home urgently but I am helpless. I will rate their customer service poor 1/5 Another thing after 1year of many emails I got my ticket refund since 2020. Qatar gave our refund within 3days. Kudos to Qatar.

Scam Oman airline- no refund or response after booking

I booked my tickets online, due to the pandemic, I had to cancel the tickets , but the airline is notproviding a cancellation I.d. Even though I've tried cancelling multiple times the ticket status still shows confirmed. They want to stall the cancellation so when the flight departs it will be a no show and they need not refund me. Very rude customer care,who don't bother to answer your queries. I will never book tickets in oman air again. Please please avoid this con airline. They will take your money and cheat you. Please read all reviews below.

14 months later chargeback refund

After hours of phone calls, over 30 emails with Omanair and countless hours of calling my bank,I finally got a refund. HOWEVER only trough credit card chargeback and I had to fight for that as well. I booked my business class ticket from BKK-MUC in late February 2020. COVID hit, the flight was cancelled days before. I understood and immediately asked for a refund. Initially the ticket policy at the time of booking promised a refund within 14 days of cancellation of the flight by the airline. Sure enough, after the cancellation this policy was removed quietly. As many reviewers here already stated, Omanair promised a refund after 12 months. Countless unanswered emails to the Omanair refund team after 12 months and calls to no avail. 13 months passed and there was no refund. After raising the issue with my bank again and showing them proof that Omanair promised a refund after 12 months and my bank giving Omanair 30 days to respond to the claim they had no choice but to refund. I am actually not sure if Omanair refunded or if their bank was forced to refund. And honestly I don’t care. What is disappointing is that they kept my money for a flight that never happened and CLEARLY stalled hundreds of their customers for over 12 months. Things like asking me for my ticket or booking number when they clearly had it. Or their automated responses that someone will get back to me within 15 days, but no one ever did. Or when calling them to tell me that I need to email them again with the ticket number. Eventually they said they can’t find my booking anymore… What a nightmare. What is even more disappointing is that I flew with Omanair twice before and I was VERY happy with their product and service. They offered a premium product at a very affordable rate and I was looking forward to my flight back in March 2020. Not anymore, I will NEVER fly Omanair again and recommend any of my acquaintances and friends to do the same. Avoid this airline at all costs!

I am still waiting for my flight refund from March 2020. I was asked to send them a reminder to issue the refund a year later which I did and I still haven't head back over a month later.I'm absolutely appalled and devistated becsuse I dont know how to sort it. Do not reccomend at all, awful service!

After literally 100s of emails, I am still waiting for a refund of my April 2020 flight tickets.I have had refunds and great service from so-called budget/low-cost airlines. I have been messed around, ignored, lied to. Refunds have supposedly been 'sent', only not to reach my account. Couldn't really have been any worse. Fraudsters.
