I just want my Switch back!

I sent my Switch Lite in to the repair center due to joy drift on March 29th. The nice lady at Nintendo said it would take about two weeks all together,which is totally fine. I did notice that it was going to be delivered to an incorrect address so I attempted to correct it 4 days ago. BOY WAS THAT A MISTAKE. Now no one can tell me where my Switch is! I’ve spoken to two people at Nintendo today alone, both very pleasant but got nowhere. All I want is my fricken Switch back that I paid over $200 for! I’m missing important Animal Crossing things, man!

Refuse to follow consumer right laws, will rip you off

Nintendo again and again has proved they refuse to follow norwegian and european consumer laws.Being big they think they are above the law. They will rip you off, treat you poorly and respond incredibly rude should you try to engage in communication. According to norwegian law they are obliged to allow cancelation of purchases trough the e-shop, however they do not. In order to purchase something you have to agree to forfeit this right, however this is not a non forfeitable right in norway (In order to protect consumers from this kind of predatory business practices.) #Scam #Ripped #Off #RippedOff #Pissed #DoNotBuy #Illegal

Love the console as a concept,being able to dettach conttolers, change screens, play many types of games in different environments is really neat.Now for the problems, remember that if you buy the consoloe, you buy the game, you buy dlcs, you WILL NOT be able to play the games online... Yes,you will not. Because you do not have another paid service called nintendo membership. Imagine being on your PC, you just bought lets say FIFA and EA's Origin tells you"no you can not play online, pay us more and we will let you". Next up are the bad offers, they recycle everything and sell it to you overpriced. The points you get from buying games get removed yearly. I was not rich when i bought the switch and tried to slowly gather points so that one day i can maybe buy a better game. Aaaaaaand they're gone. If you pay, they decide if you deserve your own investment. Going on, physical shops are non existent in my country. Prices are always set to ultra high. You wont see Original Content from them, there are about 12 super mario games out there. It is tiresome to see 60euros for pretty much a....game mode not even a whole game. Choose wisely if it is worth it. If you have money yea go nuts, otherwise f em.

Bought mario 3D with bowsers fury, origami sheets, steel case and a bowser soft toy. The game is just ported from the Wii u.That’s fine and was expected. The dlc bowsers fury was the new content. The soft toy is just old stock. A standard bowser toy. Made in 2017. It does not have anything to do with the new look bowser in the game that it’s been bundled with. It also feels like cheap toys won at a fairground. They are just selling off old stock for top prices. I will never buy direct from Nintendo again, there’s no benefit to it, everywhere else is always cheaper for the exact same item. When contacting Nintendo they just refuse to do anything. Disappointing really, the bowser soft toy should have been more to do with the game it was being sold with and not just old stock.

Nintendo is a great company with a great selection of games, consoles, and a lot of good things going for them.I am an owner of a switch and quite a selection of games, the console is small and will not support big games like call of duty, halo, etc. That being said it is to be expected and the portable and sheer ease of use for new comers and veterans alike make it well worth what it sacrifices. The switch is a very influential device being able to take it everywhere along with hooking it up to a TV. My only complaint with the switch is that the joy cons do wear down way earlier than they should be, for 80 dollars I shouldn't have to worry about them malfunctioning and drifting in upwards of 6 months to a year. The other thing that has made me bring it down to 4 stars is how easy it is to scratch the switch on the dock, this is not a huge complaint and there is probably no way around it, it might even just be my complaint, but make sure you get a screen protector or you will quickly scratch your new switch. In conclusion Nintendo is bringing something new and exciting to the gaming industry that no other company is doing. You can play amazing Nintendo only games while laying in bed, at a friends house, or really anywhere. They only have a few things, that are minor problems that could have a quick fix if desired to by Nintendo.
