The National Broadcasting Company (NBC) is an American English language commercial broadcast television network that is a flagship property of NBCUniversal, a subsidiary of Comcast. The network is headquartered in the Comcast Building (formerly known as the GE Building) at Rockefeller Center in New York City, with additional major offices near Los Angeles (at Universal City Plaza), Chicago (at the NBC Tower) and soon in Philadelphia at Comcast Innovation and Technology Center. The network is part of the Big Three television networks. NBC is sometimes referred to as the "Peacock Network", in reference to its stylized peacock logo, which was originally created in 1956 for its then-new color broadcasts and became the network's official emblem in 1979. Founded in 1926 by the Radio Corporation of America (RCA), NBC is the oldest major broadcast network in the United States. In 1986, control of NBC passed to General Electric (GE) – which previously owned RCA and NBC until 1930, when it was forced to sell the companies as a result of antitrust charges – through its $6.4 billion purchase of RCA. Following the acquisition by GE (which later liquidated RCA), Bob Wright served as chief executive officer of NBC, remaining in that position until his retirement in 2007, when he was succeeded by Jeff Zucker. In 2003, French media company Vivendi merged its entertainment assets with GE, forming NBC Universal. Comcast purchased a controlling interest in the company in 2011, and acquired General Electric's remaining stake in 2013.[1] Following the Comcast merger, Zucker left NBC Universal and was replaced as CEO by Comcast executive Steve Burke. NBC has thirteen owned-and-operated stations and nearly 200 affiliates throughout the United States and its territories, some of which are also available in Canada via pay-television providers or in border areas over-the-air; NBC also maintains brand licensing agreements for international channels in South Korea and Germany.[2]

I have accidentally clicked on a video on YouTube yesterday by NBC, which was a live stream of the landing of a NASA rover on the planet Mars.Yet, instead of receiving actual live footage from the planet or the landing on the planet itself, I have only seen people on my screen talking nonsense. And that is when I have had to realize that all the women that work for NBC are just looking like cheap female pornstars! Seriously, do they actually take a look into the mirror before they get on screen and do they really believe that if they look like hookers selling themselves on street corners that I would give any attention about anything they are saying? And then all this laughing and terrible talking that has nothing to do with the actual topic and sounds like some teenage girls chatting about just any nonsense, oh God!
Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if you could find some of these "women" on pornographic websites making some more money by doing all the things that are happening in those movies. Funny, if there is one that cries "Me too!" first, it is always them, yet at the same time they dress themselves in this disgusting and totally sluttish way. Absolutely ridiculous!

0 stars. Unbelievable!!!! Can't work out a deal with Verizon fios. I could go buy HD antenna to watch for free,but I'd rather you loose more money when you viewing counts go down and ABC, CBS and Fox go up. Both Verizon and NBC don't care about people, just their wallets. Good luck to you, I'll watch other stations.

I was very disappointed the U.S. Figure Skating: 100th Anniversary Special that aired yesterday.Producers, hosts, and people in charge of programming titled this special "100th Anniversary Special." To my disgrace, many outstanding champions within the past 100 years weren't even mentioned such as the great Michelle Kwan, Dick Button, Evan Lysacek, Scott Hamilton, Sasha Cohen, Dorothy Hamill and more. They did mention current skaters that haven't even won any championship.....I know Michelle and Evan were rivals of Johnny and Tara, but if they are going to host, they cannot be biased about talking about the true greats of the world of figure skating within the past 100 years. I was shocked that they didn't give any mention of these amazing skaters and yet made a big deal about their own accomplishments. SELFISH, NBC!!
