Simple dating tips, but very useful!

My relationship with my girlfriend was going south. I was about to break-up with her because all we did was have arguments over every little thing.My friends did not offer any great advice but then one day I came across a Marriage.com blog, and as I read more and more of it, I realized that all we had was communication issues that could be easily resolved only if we made some efforts to connect. There were some really no sweat tips that helped me save my relationship.
And yes, I am still dating the same girl!

I am a single parent with two kids, a 7-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl. I have had a tough time being the working mom and managing my kids.
I always used to be overworked,and inadvertently, I let it out on my kids. I was miserable as a parent.
I came across Marriage.com and happened to read the articles regularly. Not just that, I made it a point to bring expert advice into practice. Although gradually, my equation with my children changed for the good. I have become better at managing my work, started spending more time with them, and my kids love me!
I have all the reasons to be more than happy!

Getting divorced was one of the best decisions of my life. But getting over it was pretty tough.For the longest time ever, i could not come to terms with it...the advice on divorce provided on this website proved to be very useful to me in managing my life after the divorce and understanding what’s acceptable and what’s not. I realized after reading many of the articles here that although i felt devastated, how i could move towards making myself stable emotionally and financially.

The website has tonnes of useful advice for same sex couples like us, right from marriage tips,healthcare options and legal guides to issues related to adoption and domestic violence as well. I really admire the fact that you can get an unbiased look at these issues from people you can trust. Just wish they could cover more stuff as there are many challenges that LGBTQ couples are still facing in their relationships.

I always end up finding relevant stuff on relationships on this website. While the expert advice really helps me deal with the toughest of situations with my partner,the quizzes are fun to play. During this lockdown situation, isolating at home was leading to many fights, sometimes out of sheer boredom! But we decided to do something constructive instead after reading an expert roundup on managing relationships during quarantine. Kudos to the team for publishing such useful stuff!!

A few months back, my wife who has always been vivacious and ambitious, starting to undergo sharp mood swings.She started to find everyday tasks like getting up and going to work, tedious. She would often oscillate between wanting to have people around, and then there would be days when she would shut me and others out, altogether. here was a radical drop in her weight. All this and still she was not very keen to visit a doctor. Both of us shrugged it off to everyday stressors. Till one day I happened to come across an article on high functioning depression on Marriage.com.
There was a strong resemblance between the symptoms mentioned in the article and the behavioral traits of my wife. It was a much-needed wake-up call for both of us and we realized that if left unchecked, it could snowball into irreparable damage. I found the email of the writer(who was a qualified counselor) in the profile and reached out to her. went there with my wife, she walked us through the facts about the illness and worked with us to help my wife manage the illness with her talk-therapy and techniques. I got some valuable information on Marriage.com and I would recommend it to others to give it a read.

For me, the Marriage.com forum turned out to be a better place to confide in about my marriage problems than anywhere else.It’s funny how you think that you are the only one facing a problem until you find hundreds of people going through the same. It really helped me cope with the fact that my partner had cheated on me with someone I knew. Not that I am ready to forgive him yet, still it helps to know that I am not completely at fault here and that this can happen to anyone. After discussions with other people on the forum, I can also see that there were issues in my marriage that I need to work on whether this case of infidelity had happened or not. So right now I am focusing on maintaining my sanity and reading up on as much expert advice as possible on the website.
