Used to love Weatherspoons but since they now follow convid rules it’s gone to shambles. APP only orders outside!So basically I had to be their staff member and take my tables orders on my app . Felt like I worked there but obviously I don’t get paid . I would lol but it’s actually not funny. Also They are understaffed on purpose to get us all used to the APP. I really hope new business which is Human Staff friendly takes over and knocked them out of the high street. Technology gone to their heads, customer service 2nd place. That app is a pain in the ASS

We’ve waited for ages for our food. If only they’d have told usthey were short staffed when we arrived:
- Drinks took forever to come to table
- Food order wrong; 8” rather than 11” pizza brought to table and the other meal was delivered with luke warm chips
- Melodramatic bar staff putting on an amateur dramatic show as he complained about being overworked. So busy in his own monologue he neglected to bring a glass for my partners bottled drink
- “Manager” taking forever to process refund. Also had the audacity to ask what the problem was with the drinks when we demanded a full refund. The drinks took so long to get to us they are hardly touched and we came in for a meal, not a drink!!
To be fair, Curtis (acting manager) is doing his best and is a nice guy. But he’s totally let down by insufficient staff and a waiter/barman who’s a complete drama queen and shouldn’t be there.

Went to 'The Vevet Coaster' in blackpool, me and my husband live in the area, but we were meeting my son and his partner and 2 granddaughters who were in blackpool for the long weekend.First of all the table was so sticky we had to put the food menues down as table clothes...After 20 mins trying to get the app to work to order without any success, we managed to order with a waiter, we all had fish and chips but the one that my sons partner got was absolutely disgusting, more like a fish finger with a dozen chips, after complaining the waiter agreed it wasnt acceptable and said he would get somemore chips, 20 mins later we had all eaten I complained again and was asked if I wanted a refund, I said actually she would like the chips shes hungry, They came eventualy, we wil not be eating here again, it was grubby and the food awful, I have never had to complain before in a Wetherspoons. I took a photo of the meal but see there isnt a place to upload a photo.

The staff,their service and friendliness has been above and beyond...excellent!

No acknowledgement on entry that you cannot order mixers with your drinks. Too long waiting times anddespite asking numerous times over an hour later for drinks which are visible behind bar cannot be given. Not Customer Focused
