I left negative feedback on this company(in Toronto) at Homestars.com and they rejected it twice!!!!It seems they pick and choose what feedback can be left for which company. Ate the companies paying them for this service. I have used Homestars in the past but no more. I DO NOT TRUST THEIR RATINGS WHEN THEY DONT ACCEPT THE CONSUMERS RATINGS. They obviously "push" certain companies....I will not deal with them again. Do your own research. At this point who knows if they even get kickbacks?????

We trusted them when they contacted us and promised that there willbe a return on the 250$ a month investment
It turned out that my opinion on Homestars before I signed with them was correct
Don’t get fooled by their possible traffic in big cities like Toronto
I am from BC and in our area they have nothing related to our industry
The 250$ a month is a pure waste of money because you really get nothing in return.
They chain you with a 1 year contract like all the crooks that have no real product that can speak for themselves and there is no need to chain people if you offer a product that really useful and bring some benefits to your business
Only a company that ran by crooks can jail their customers on a yearly contract and that’s because they represent something that not really worth this money
SHAME ON YOU!
You made your customer for the last 7 months, you new enemy.

This is Not a Professional Service! I felt I got scammed!!!! $$$
I had a 20 year old beautiful solid White Westinghouse Refrigerator and it stopped working.
Jiffy showed up was told to scrap it because new compressor needs replacing 100% sure of this.
Not worth it , the Jiffy "pro" says.
Paid well over $100 for what?
I Called a local place that deals with Appliance Sales & Service
I found on HomeStars, great!
The man came out the next day and in 20 min he found the issue.
The relay and capacitor tbat drives the compressor (as he said) were replaced. Two parts at $80 plus $120 for his time and service call all for a
Total Cost of $200 Crash!
My refrigerator works beautifully and has for six month now.
Just wanted to waited to see before posting this review.
I'm angry and very disappointed at Jiffy Services, that I could have thrown out my refrigerator that required two minor parts.
This is very disturbing that this can happen to anyone out there.
My new guy I use said these old refrigerators are worth repairing.
The new one only last about 7-10 years if your lucky. Great info of knowledge to know.

BUYER BEWARE: HOMESTARS (toronto) LEAD SERVICE IS LOW-END and LOW VOLUME with POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.Do not believe their lying sales peoples schpeel about unlimited high volume or high-end leads. You will be lucky if they send you (and 5 other contractors) 3 leads in a year. We actually got 3 in 9 months (smh).
VERIFY if the companies listed on HOMESTARS are happy using THE PLATFORM paid services. More than likely the majority of them are stuck in the auto-renew loop and are in dispute with Homestars or have such a high advertising budget that they don't measure how effective it is. BELIEVE NOTHING VERBAL unless you RECORD THE CONVERSATION!

We are a professional builders here in Toronto, ON and sometimes our contractors can't do the job forsome reasons that's why we search for other professional contractors and I'am kind of disappointed with HomeStars. Last year we hired 5 contractors from homestars with over 400 positive reviews and 9.8/10 stars, basically that's about 2 negative reviews. Guess what? They all failed. Never seen such a disaster work. Do not trust HomeStars, all those stars and reviews comes from air.
