HK came through for me and replaced the faulty battery, I do get that there are policies in place for a reason but sometimes there is a need to view the bigger picture,and eventually it was all sorted.
If you get a product that isn't faulty, then it's not a bad deal, decent prices and some of the batteries are decent, things arrives fast.
If you have a problem, you are screwed, Hobbyking have zero interest in helping, their warranty process is tailored to suit them, you can't even return an item to them for inspection.
I guess a company that size just relies on new business until they screw you over, I'll never use them again no matter how much money they save me.
*Edit* Response to HK reply, I am indeed screwed, I've done all the customer channels, I can send the battery back to you, in a totally different country to where the item was supplied from. HK are happy to make it as difficult as possible to return this item for inspection, and have stated in messages it's unlikely to go anywhere anyway.

I got in touch with Hobbyking assistance for a defective battery charger, stopping to operate durinf the first 12 months from purchase.The feedback has been extremely quick, and the support received at the very best level as possible. The claim has been accepted looking at the evidences provided (pictures showing the defective functioning of the charger) and quick closure provided, with credit of the corresponding value and no need to ship back the device with relevant costs. Very good and professional approach, very honest and correct behaviour. Excellent support from the customer service, confirming Hobbyking to be a very professional commercial interface. More than happy, I'll continue to deal with Hobbyking. thanks for support and at the next chance !

Na 164 dagen wachten nog geen ontvangers ontvangen. Hobbyking zegt; jammer dan, kunnen niets voor u doen.Ben dus voor +/- €60,- bestolen door Hobbyking en dat terwijl ik al jaren klant ben (plantium customer). Normaal bestel ik altijd met racking, deze keer niet en krijg direct niets bezorgt! Ik heb heel erg veel geduld getoond maar je wordt gewoon aan het lijntje gehouden. Niets meer bij bestellen is mijn advies!!!

I've checked the order details here. It saddens me to find out that the shipping method is non trackable and with that, we cannot locate or track further details of the order like the location.
Since it is non trackable, we cannot open an investigation ticket.
We don't suggest this method but we cannot remove it from the system due to some customers are still using this method as it is cheap. We highly suggest that we use the shipping method with tracking so that we can avoid any issues with the tracking.

I wanted to order two lipo packs from EU warehouse. Those packs there were not available therefore I tried to buy from UK warehouse.I struggled because part of my adress data "Bundesland" was not accepted by the system. I contacted the back office and it was Bill A who came back to me with very helpful answers. He updated my data of adress and then he explaines to me why the delivery of these lipo packs from UK is not possible any longer ("Brexit"). Furthermore he told me that an alert function is in place within the web page in order to get notice if the lipo pack again will be available in the EU warehouse stock.
So this was great ... quick .... an very reliable. Thanks to Bill A.

On 19th February 2021 I ordered 2 servos but as of 30th April they have not arrived.I didn’t select shipping with Tracking. Until recently they just kept saying the same thing of “be patient and wait a few more weeks”.
Only after repeatedly asking the same questions did I receive the answers this week. 1) An item is considered lost after 90 business days which means approximately 20 weeks when including nation holidays. 2) There is no compensation for an item without tracking.
I’ve wasted a huge amount of time pursuing this issue. Answers from the customer service system are long winded and full of bull-s**t statements.

Genuinely terrible customer service. My order never arrived. I've contacted them via their convoluted help system that simply tries to point you at some useless FAQ page.All the tickets I've raised have now been closed and I'm left out of pocket.
