I just love my pivo for filming when riding.
It follows smooth around and the quality is amazing on both video and photo screenshots.Best buy ever.
The costumer support is really sweet too and there is a nice pivo community on facebook

Bad Customer Service and Practices

The product arrived with ripped and damaged packaging, inside the sealed Pivo box.This means it was done in manufacturing, yet they blamed customs. (It was not opened by customs at all). The Pivo silver is jerky and does not rotate smoothly. Customer service is rude and unhelpful when contacting about returns. Oh, and for a company that only does business online and through the mail, they make you pay $20+ with a required tracking number to ship it back yourself. A joke of a company that is preying on young shoppers with fake videos and testimonials.
Oh I forgot to add, the product itself is cheap, feels cheap and works like a cheap Chinese product. They do not disclose that it is "dropshipped" basically from China.

Got the Pivo Pod to help me while riding my horses. Seeing yourself and analyzing my own mistakes has helped to improve my riding a lot!The pod is super efficient, its by far my best investment in gadgets. Whenever I had any difficulties (with regards settings or questions re Pivo Meet app), Pivo representatives have always been super efficient in their replies.
Couldn’t recommend the Pivo anymore. If you considering to buy it, do not waste anymore time! Just click add to cart and confirm you order ??

Complete Disappointment

I bought PIVO a year ago in order to film myself while horse riding. It has been a complete disappointment.Even when I am completely alone in the arena, the camera looses the horse very easily, ending up turning round and round and then fixing on a wall. I have tried it in the indoor and outdoor.
If you have another horse in the arena, even if that horse if further behind me (not between pivo and me) - pivo looses me and starts following the other horse.
I tried using it on a friend while she was jumping, pivo would fix on the jumps themselves and stop following me.
The worse thing is that even when it does follow me, it does not rotate smoothly, rather it moves in tiny jerk like motions which makes the video very tiring to watch.
So I have stashed it in a drawer so that I am not reminded of the money I spent for no good reason. Such a shame...

Pivo is buggy and poorly engineered.

I bought Pivo to track my horseback riding, and it poorly works with my new iPhone 12.It zooms in and out without tracking. It fails to export. The app takes up so much storage space on my phone that I can’t save any recording. The video player is buggy. Support sends automated responses with links to FAQ without providing help. My experience with Pivo is that it’s poorly engineered. I don’t recommend this product.

Just got my Pivo Red week ago and loving it. I used it for cooking videos and quick reals. Lots of fun,functionality and creativity in a small form factor. Also like tiny planet and the auto zoom feature!

Pivo: almost perfect if..

pivo is a great tiny device especially when you use it for social media platforms such as instagram or tiktok.It can also take great pictures to surprise family members, friends or the internet
You gotta know how to use it in certain situations tho, so in the beginning it can be a little tricky but definitely worth the time to read the complete instruction manual. ( there are just so many functions)
BUT pivo also has it limits
for example
-you should film with a not crowded background or pivo can loose tracking easily and your shot is ruined
-charge it whenever you can(bluetooth connection and heavy use (fast tracking) is draining the battery in 2-3 hours
-no nice adapter for a vertical phone video while recording horizontal with the gopro on top (to have both formats for easy use)
-cannot hold too heavy cameras with extra equipment (light,mic etc.)
Overall it comes in handy! make sure its on a stiff tripod so that it doesnt shake too much while recording
I use my pivo mostely to record my trainings sesh on my skateboard
