I paid for a one-off lifetime subscription deal with FollowUp.cc for their Mini-Annual Plan three years ago.The service itself was all right. It was a bit limiting on features but given I wasn't using it on a corporate level, the plan sufficed.
However, what ruined my experience with FollowUp.cc is the fact they kept charging my account annually when they shouldn't have done. Lifetime equals lifetime – or, at least it does for practically every other company. I had to battle with Customer Support to get my money refunded and they promised me that I wouldn't be charged thereon. That was false and by the third time of their charging me, I wrote a very angry email. That's when one of the assistants informed me that they no longer have the plan I was on [thanks for telling customers, FU.cc (what an apt abbreviation!)] and offered me either a 25% reduction on the existing equivalent or a refund and closure of my account. I opted for the latter.
Lo and behold, that promise wasn't kept (and all my later emails demanding a refund and closure were ignored), leaving me no choice but to get my credit card company to intervene and refund my money instead. Up to today, they still haven't closed my account and are ignoring all correspondence I send them requesting this. What's worse is that there's no way of removing card details once you've registered them to your account, so I've been forced to cancel my card for the sole sake of not being billed again.
I would've recommended this service but sadly it's ruined by a rather shifty, indecorous team that violates itself for money then shuns you if you ask to withdraw your custom. A big shame.read more

We had followup.cc for a year. At first, you'll see a decent product.
But you'll realize the service are totally overpriced compared to other similar and more powerful tools.In 3 different emails I tried to cancel our account - they reply back and ignore the cancellation. Still after 3 emails and now waiting on day 4 for a reply back - our account is still active and no refund.read more
they send sales emails to your contacts

when I use this with a contact, they send unsolicited emails to my contacts advertising their product.I have repeatedly asked them to stop but they refuse. my contacts do not want spam from this company and it is very irritating. I paid for a subscription and now they refuse to issue a refund. I would not do business with this company.read more

I am currently a senior-to-be at the University of California, Berkeley, and I am proud to give this service the maximum rating of its kind.Absolutely no problems at all, email system was exactly as described/marketed, and vendors were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about materials. Couldn't have asked for more. I will definitely be taking my business here again in the near future.read more
