Refused to Return Defective Shoes

Will never purchase from them again! I ordered Nike Air 270's online and they arrived extremely squeaky,I was told they were defective and they would exchange them and send out a new pair. I waited and never received the new pair. Then they said, oh you need to ship them back first, we will inspect, and then 1-2 weeks later we will send new ones. They also said I could drive to a store and exchange them if I didn't want to wait. So I drove OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF AWAY and Finishline refused to exchange them for me because they were worn! Yeah they were worn, I ordered online and had to wear to know they were defective. Even when I showed them the email saying I could return them in store, they still refused! Horrible customer service. Then when I finally mailed them back to them, they canceled my replacement order, which was fine by me, I just wanted my money back at that point. It took 2 weeks to get my refund. What a hassle and I still don't have new shoes!read more

I ordered a pair of shoes online 3-22-21, I took them to store #472 on 3-29-21 to exchange them for a smaller size that they had to order online,I never recieved an email conformation for this order just the receipt from the store so on 4-8-21 after not receiving my shoes I called the store and was told my order had been canceled and I had never been notified of this! And they told me to contact Niayah at customer service. I talked to a different person but was told they would put in a request for my refund and it would take 3 to 5 business days to receive it, well I gave them until 4-22-21,still no refund! this time I talked to Christine and she told me all the same stuff! So on 4-26-21 I went back to the store and asked if they could help me,the store manager went out of his way to help me, he called customer service and spoke with Desiree and she said my refund would be added back to my account in 3 to 5 business days,well today 5-10-21 still no refund! I went back to the store and the manager called and talked to Niayah and she said there was no note stating that I was supposed to get a refund and that I needed to send a copy of my receipt to them so she could show it to her supervisors to request my refund yet again! So the store manager sent it to her from their company email and I was told again that it would take 3 to 5 business days to get my refund. If an order is canceled the money should go directly back to the form of payment that was used to purchase the item,it should not take a person 4 phone calls to customer service to request their money back, the shoes were returned to the store! Where they were resold, so not only did they make money off that sale they also have my money as well! And after reading all of the reviews on here and another site I see that I'm not the only one that this has happened too! Finish Line is Scamming people! Are they going bankrupt and this is the only way they can make money?read more

Terrible service. I'm almost convinced this is a scam company. I went into the store and they didn't have my size.Then they offered to order what I wanted online. After a week my order never arrived and they claimed that they did not have the shoes I ordered. I asked for my money back and they sent a check misspelling my name. I had to call them back 3 times and every time they messed up the check. Do not order from this company. Two and half months later and I still do not have my money back. Worst customer service ever. Borderline scammers.read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE. Giving them one stars because I cannot put anything lower than that.I ordered shoes online and was told 3-4 days. 7 days passed and had received nothing. Forced to call customer service, “fixed” the solution, and was told again 3-4 days. Another week passed, nothing. I am extremely disappointed and cancelled my order. 4 customer service reps wrongly placed my order. Forced again to speak to a customer representative to get my money back and nothing, she even hung up on me. Forced to spend my day finding ways to get my money back from this terrible store.read more

I would not recommend this company because they will do not have a relationship with the companies that manufacture their products.Laces snapped on a pair of Adidas with less than a month of wear. Obviously, not Finish Line's fault! And after talking with Customer Service, clearly not their problem. I have to contact the manufacturer directly.read more

I received this from a customer service worker today..... Looks like this customer went in store and received a full refund.The customer will need to go back to this store for further assistance.
